i can see your school isn't talented enough to sing without music in your hands. and wassup with the "UNiFORM" ? your school must be pretty cheap, huh?
@mollerz4242 Were looking through You Tube for this song. I stumbled across this and found such disgust in some of the negative comments that people made towards your attempt at a Sacred classic such as this! I appreciate your talented singing of this piece of music...and for a High School aged group you did a superb job! I direct a chorus for children Junior High age and I give you all credit for singing in this day and age such a beautiful song of praise to God! He doesn't care what you wear!!
I know of this song but I sing as an alto but we never sing this song at a private Catholic school at a spring program but I know that there's a college called Magdalen College that sings this song, just love it but at my twin sister's Church, they sing this song.
this was a conference where we all learned the music in two and a half days. We did not have any prior experience singing with each other and this was the final performance on the third day.
we sang this song in my choir and we loved it! as a tenor i have to say that tenors do rock!! especially in this song they're the leaders!! and this is a very good performance
this song is best when sung by four ppl. SATB. you lose to much of its Palestrina feel when sung in a choir... i promise u. try it! :) same as all the palestrina motettes ("nigra sum sed formosa" and "heu mihi domine")

Great efforts everyone! Some nice parts in the rendition. Keep up the hard work and most of all, enjoy!!! Palestrina is not easy to perform!
