  • I am a yellow belt in Judo but I suck like hell in tachiwaza although most of the guys cant throw me I just evade there moves.I once did one right throw in rendre yaaaaaaay.

But I am the best of the best in niwaza [no i am not fat] I play even agaisnt brown belt guys in niwaza.

  • dude sort out the tachi waza! Throwing for a big ippon beats any newaza!

  • true! IPPONs are best! well apart from arm locks!

  • Its funny how he runs in the beginning... you do realize you could of ran right into a full point for your oppenment

  • great judo man, i'm a first dan black belt in judo and kyokushin karate. this is a little bit rare cuz a lot of this stuff isn't actual good fighting, it's usually just scraps but this is nice judo. nice job man.

  • ENG: Amatours, they dont know how to fight. Nothing special :/

POL: Sama amatorka! Dzieciaków jakiś ponagrywali, dodali muzyczkę i myślą że już zostaną mistrzami :P

    Porażka.

  • nice ne waza judo

  • Judo is a difficult sport, especially if you are flat footed, and can't pivot properly like me. Injuries are common eg: broken small toes, twisted ankles and the favourite - torn knee meniscus. Judo gradings from novice to orange belt are scrappy, it's nerves that's all. I got my green belt in my 4th grading, but gave up cos of all the injuries and the time involved for training was too much.

  • I thought it was a great video, nice one! Nicely edited, good music and good judo :)

  • lol...that was soo stoopid..was that supposed to be dramatic? xD

  • is it easy to get injury or sprain when practicing?

  • It depends, Most of the time its fine but people can break toes if they get them stuck down between the mats! the first thing you learn a brake falls as long as you do them properly its unlikely you'll be injured.

  • I enjoyed the video, ignore the idiots and enjoy your judo. WW 1st Dan

  • Thanks, Much appreciated!

  • for practising judo for 6 years now...

and still wearing the white belt (it is a white, as far as i can see it)...

You should practise some more judo, instead of creating unnecessary videos.

  • For official matches in a tournament or grading event, one guy has a white belt and one has a red one, its always that way, thats not his real belt (atleast I dont think so, he trained 6 years)

  • its a sash you use in competition, obviously you dont know anything obout judo so judt be quite.

  • good "half-nelson". way to run it (@ 1:58). Did you wrestle any?

  • The "Look ma, I know how to edit video" version.

  • right! thanks 4 ya intresting commernt this is when i was just geting 2 grips with editing I now use adoby.

  • Heh. For a two cents worth of advise: this event is not dramatic, nor shocking, so don't go overboard with the music. Intros and intermissions should be very (and I mean very) short and sparse. The key word here is "restraint." Use lighter music, and some humor if you dare. The coloring effects... don't. Just... don't.

And don't do replays of locks... that's pretty boring. It's a good feeling to win using a lock, but to the spectator is dull.

  • I wish you had left the fight as is without all the "special effects"...I've been refereeing judo bouts for a bit over three years now, and I like to see the bout, the whole bout, and nothing but the bout. Your pretty keen to give it a go, but there was no technique, and your opponents seem to just give in ... they must have been nervous as hell. Anyway I'm sure you'll improve your posture, balance, movement etc. keep it up. Damon Ellis, 1st Dan.

  • nice job not giving up when that guy had you in osaekomi. how long have you been doing judo for?

  • Thanks! I have been doing judo for about 6 years.

  • wow it took you 6 years to get your green belt!? it took me 6 months to get my yellow
