Chandler was pretty much ok at the beginning , you may even notice a scene where he's the one flirting with ladies while joey stays quiet . Then chandler started the whole insecurity thing after the "gay quality" incident . In the meantime Ross got back in the game (julie ) and then grew on and won over rachel .

@ANUTHRAMESWAR 2nd time : for Ross it's the infamous "we were on break" thing and his on-off-on again relationship with rachel . Starting this point he's pretty much a regular guy . He actually scores a lot of hot girl ("dirty girl" , mona , charlie ) and he dress sharp .They only make fun of him because it's a comedy. Now Chandler? let's see. Oh yeah he gets together with Monica and he hits rock bottom . Writers don't miss an occasion to show how effeminate , insecure and submissive he is.
