Bob Revolution Review - Works with Chicco Keyfit30!

As of 2011, Bob now states their single stroller models are compatible with Graco, Peg Perego AND Chicco Keyfit infant car seats. Bob only approves the use of the Graco Snugride and Graco Snugride 30 seats for use with their duallie strollers.

However, their website does not provide information with respect to crash testing. During a car seat technician training I met employees from the store "Giggle". Your review is very thorough... thank you very much for taking the time to do it. I have one question regarding the foam, do I need it if I am planning to use the Keyfit 30? I am just wondering why you are using the foam.

Hello! The foam is to keep the car seat level. The stroller seat is very deep and the foam block helps take up space underneath the car seat.

I talked with some baby store reps and they were pushing the Graco Snugride (they didn't sell the Peg Perego) advocating for that seat stating it was crash-rated in the Bob stroller. I understand these other seat have some form of clip for additional protection. I really don't know how much. Any thoughts?

I did a lot of research on the stroller and never came across any references to stroller crash tests. Either I'm misunderstanding what they were telling you, or they were likely just trying to make a sale. I chose the Keyfit because I liked the flexibility of using it with or without the base, the high weight limit, and because if felt like they used higher quality materials than Graco when I did in-store comparisons. To me, the fit of the Chicco in the stroller is very secure.
