KDE is good but i only hate that they copy alot from MS OSes.. i really hate that about it..

If i choose linux i dont want anything reminding me to windows.

Well if you look at the roadmap of KDE youll see everytime Ms changes something about the GUI, KDE comes with a similiar thing. What i would really like to see is KDE comming with something that ms havent yet done.

I can't agree with you there. KDE just follows new innovations in the OS market, like widgets, translucent themes and such, it doesn't copy. You still have the freedom to re-organize your panels, your desktop, your menus, your themes etc. That's not possible with Windows.

And by the way, since GNOME has a top panel, that doesn't mean that GNOME copied that from OSX, right? The same is for KDE.

KDE and Windows are totally different.

Microsoft also copied KDE in Windows 7.

The ability to add widgets everywhere, and the color scheme, etc.

Man, this is KDE 4.2 RC1? It's very light! I Imagine the KDE 4.2 Final... In Windows the KDE 4.2 RC is not completed and very bugged.

It just has to be high-res and it's automatically added as HD. The minimum resolution for HD is something like 1024x600.
