  • @mafarnz How big is that air tank?

  • @npadul30 The tank used in this video was 7 gallons.

  • Did Union Pacific use this horn too?

  • @Tanvan180 Yes they did, from the early 50's until the early 90's (they also used Prime 920's, which were clones of Leslie's). You can still hear the occasional Leslie/Prime horn on a UP unit, most often an older one.

  • I sent you a message on the site where you first got your rs3k go look at it it is some info to find more stuff we both don' need.

  • Go to Eds Locomotive horns on you tube. or Diesel air horns inc

  • @Jazzyhorn111 Yep, I'm subscribed to that channel.

  • You need bigger air line,1/2 3/4 More tank but you know that. But also you are so new and don'know too much but keep on playing with that stuff,if comments like this piss you off ,good that wiil make you a more diehard horn fan . Don't let any s o b tell you you are making too much noise, that kind of @#$% makes me blow my 6 train horns even later in the nite, You complain you will not sleep!! Keep up the good work, don't laugh at some one who tries to do something.

  • @Jazzyhorn111 Comments like this don't piss me off at all, in fact that's how I learn how to make stuff better. Thanks! Also, I did a later video of this horn using the same equipment (the air hose is 1/2 inch) and it sounds way better!
