I've been looking at different packs for the past couple weeks. I initially planned on getting the exos because it caught my eye, but after reading reviews on multiple packs, it just had too many buts. I've been looking at the gregory z55 recently.
Awesome pack, Sold my Atmos 50 and 65 and bought a Exos 46. Perfect back, don't want that many features? get a pair of scissors and customize the pack to how you want it. The problem with the atmos was the weight and the airspeed space on your back took up too much room in the main compartment. The new airspeed space takes up much less room in the main compartment.

@knarfster Hi there, i was considering an Osprey pack for a few months in South America (Exos 46 / Atmos 50). Initially I was more drawn to the Atmos with the advantage of its large front vertical zip pockets. Would you then recommend the Exos 46 over the Atmos 50? Would be interested to hear whether you found a major difference in capacity / ease of loading in either. I also felt that the side drinks pockets on the Atmos were slightly more generous, but I didn't exmine it thoroughly.
What is the watch the reviewer is wearing ?

Love the Exos series of packs from Osprey. I've got the 34, which works perfectly for weekend ultralight hikes. Great video!

I bought this pack, its very comfortable for me - an average size female. Nice video - hadn't thought to ihang the bladder on the outside.

the pack is designed to be light, not necessarily really comfortable, just so you know

I do have to admit they do look nice packs, very tempting but I'm happy with my existing pack, which works for me.
