Is the Fortune battle timed, or is it based on how many shots she fires? I was wondering since the priority for your Fortune strategy seems to be getting her to fire at you as often as possible.

Great videos, I'm trying my Big Boss run now but I'm stuck on Strut D. This method is awesome but you're too good. Is there an easy way to get past this - slower and safer - so its 99% reliable? I don't mind taking an extra 2mins to get it done every time. Thanks.

@KikujiroChan Hes playing on Extreme - the guards have more than one 'Z' above them when they sleep and also when he runs around the bottom level none of the top guards go "Who was that?" like they do in Euro Extreme. I've tested this multiple times by running exactly where he does.

For me its the last bomb in the far left corner - I can get the first two and then exit to the left then come back in. But after that its hard to tranq them all - rail hang down, freeze it and then get out in time.

ma i don't know who you are but this is the best speedrun i ever saw on mgs2.... i saw adrian kauser and takeshi's ones they look ridiculous compared to that! how did you get the idea for the battle against fortune??? you are the only one who don't use the box trick

thank you!(^^)v...the box trick is easy and to slow for my run, I only use the fastest methods, which unfortunately also the most difficult..

I tried that cover trick with Fortune once in a Normal playthrough. I managed to stay completely invincible during the cover animation, EVEN WHILE RAIDEN WAS STANDING IN AN OIL SLICK AND ON FIRE. And the game slowed down to a crawl :P
