Ok so repetitive! And that repeating chord in the background through the whole song is really annoying. Personally, I think she is wasting her time and should go back with the Corrs...or something. I love the Corrs and her voice is amazing and she has lots of talent, but she is wasting it in music like this...

Yes this verson does have the word arsehole in it and anyone who is on andrea's mailing list would have heard this in the mini demos we recieved from her record company. she later changed it to wasted as she did not want to offend her fans. i really like this version it would be great to have it released as a single.

I think her solo album was pretty good in it's own way. Granted, it's a bit cheesy, and it's not as upbeat, and great as The Corrs all together, but it's unique. It's kind of sad, like she is trying to find herself, her loneliness. As a music aficianado, I thinks it's one of the best albums out there.

As far as looks, Andrea will always have that. I still like her vocals, but to keep it real dog, The Corrs sound better with Andrea's lead vocals than her solo stuff. I mean, Breathless, runaway, angel, just absolutely rock compared to these singles on her solo album ten feet high.

The lyrics on this song are different to the one from the album. She says at 57 seconds "With a smile, tell me i'm an asshole" ~ on the album at 57 seconds the lyrics are "With a smile, tell me i am wasted"

alright basically you can write it quite easily in both. Write the bar in 12/8, or you can put a line in between the two phrases and bang its 6/8. (or cut common) It can be written either way, but the drive of the song is the 2 beat.

i'm a drummer too!! Yeah i get what you mean, but the drive of the song is definitely 6/8. What i love about drum music is the use of the repeat bar sign which looks like a percentage :)

Ok do this for me...Count out one bar,which would be 4 crotchets..Now try writing that in 6/8..Its really 4X groups of 3 triplets,now thats 12/8 in anyones language...Am i right,or am i right...P.S. drum music is written the same as melodic notation,no difference,we only use bass clef sign.....1&a 2&a 3&a 4&a is one bar of this song...thats 4 beats to a bar,12/8..or like you want to write it,would be cut common,making it a 6/8 type of thing but thats perdantic in my eyes...

Not necesseraly, drum music can be written in other forms such as symbols, and can use a bar clef, although its usually written in melodic notation. The % sign is used for instruments for when they're repeating lines/melodies for long periods of time. I use it in my compositions for uni) because it's pedantic to write every bar out with full notation. I would count this as 123456 or 1&a 2&a (repeat)personally. nick is actually nicks, as in Stevie Nicks.

Being a rhythm section player and composer, I would probably notate this song in 6/8; or 3/4. But if you write it out in 6, it would be more accurate. Counting it in 4/4 would be feeling it in duples (dotted 1/4 notes), which doesn`t lend itself to the phrasing of the melody, at least for me.

I`m not too crazy for the production of this (and some of the other new tunes) , but I like anything Andrea sings!

I`d love to find out she needs a fretless bass player!
