When it was BC, I went to the dancing troll village. I quit WoW, so I don't know if they fixed it or if it is even still there. You had to do some mad wall jumping to get there. Anyway, put in a ticket and a GM came. Finally, after tons of talking, the GM appeared in front of me and started flying around; little gnome. It was the coolest shit back then since you couldn't fly just anywhere like WOTLK. Was dope and the GM was super friendly. We chilled out for like 30-45 min.
I saw a GM on the PTR a few months ago. I remember it was a level 70 warrior, I can't exactly remember his name but Kectho sounds familiar. It could've been the same one. He was outside of Org on a nelf warrior, he was flagged, but he took no damage from anybody. He also kept spawning raid bosses for everybody to kill. He spawned Marrowgar, and others. It was pretty awesome.
Actually Gm,s help you out if quests are bugged or just don't work so they come and help you i did the legendary quest on my rogue and the patrols were glitching and he came helping me.
My buddy told a GM that it was My Bday and mid raid the gm came into the raid shot off fireworks said happy birthday then tuned the hole raid in to animals.
i was questing with a mate in Blades Edge and one of his quests had bugged which in turn bugged his quest log, could abandon or pick up any quests. GM actually took over his toon and fixed it up for him, i was talking to him on vent at the time. i was calling BS on him, but once he said the GM had left, i was able to share all the quests with him, which i couldnt 5 minutes before!!!

At the end of the Lich King another GM appeared to my raid when we were doing ICC as the raid was bugged (we kept dying). She fixed it and supersized all of us afterwards.
I saw a couple of GM's. One of them was refunding me my money after I got hacked. He was a gnome and we stood right outside Dalaran. He wanted to duel me, but he would pull all of Dalaran so decided to port us down. There we ate pie and I could spank him! The other one was a GM in Stratholme. They're awesome!

Hi Nananea. I had the pleasure of watching a GM appear in the Isle of Quel'Denas. There were issues of people crowding/griefing/and generally causing problems with one of the vendors. He appeared to everyone, told everyone to back off. When noone did, he killed all the players in the area. It was great!
I made a ticket because my account was hacked, normal ticket and all, but the GM came down out of no where on his rocket boots and said he just got back from space, where he was fighting aliens trying to harvest the moon lolol.
Saw a human lock in BC speed hacking in WSG. He got 2 caps in the first minute then just toyed with the horde. The whole ally team was accusing him in chat, he claimed to be a bored GM on his break. Made me lol.
First GM I met was GM Xavalash, who turned my pet into a pirate, myself into a giraffe and my mate into a cow; whilst on mounts, he also dinged 60-80, also threw the abomination at Shadow Vault around.
The 2nd I met was whilst I was in Quel'thalas, he appeared and started dancing and chatting with me... Tarou was his name I think.
The 3rd was when a quest in Hyjal glitched and I continued to Deepholm, the GM teleported me and helped me sort out the quest...
Once a GM whispered me and after he couldnthelp me with my problem, he gave me one favor, and teleported me across azeroth to the place i wanted to be XD
I have seen a GM once and have been playing since 2006. It happened in Howling Fjord where a quest should start an event with Lich King. The event never happened so I opened a ticket. The GM appeared floating in the air. He was a Tauren Druid and I was alliance but offcourse we had no problems communicating.
heh, i once put a ticket saying that i want a friend to role play with ... after around 10 min i got a response telling me that there will be a GM ready to RP with me ... and it happened! :) That was the most important thing in my life!

We all got there and he told us to watch, and in like 5 seconds, a GM appeared and actually wished the person a happy birthday. What an awesome birthday present from a friend in WoW.

I had a super response in Icecrown Citadel we killed the 1st boss but the ice wasn`t broken but it needed to be broken after we killed the boss so i made a ticket the guy just came for like 1 minute,then he casted a spell and xD the ice was melted lol that was super cool his name was Sykes

The only GM i've ever seen was in Dalaran on the server moonglade EU back in WOTLK. He was a gigantic orc, and i mean GIGANTIC, he was like twice as big as the bank in Dalaran. He had a pirate costume and was running around with double oxheart heroic version from ICC.
Never seen one. But had a cuple of "suspicious" run-ins when playing on my old roleplay realm. Was a small event and some random orc ran in naked. started dancing. and a few seconds later he fell through the world. Showed up about 1-2 minutes later ( with clothes on, i might add ) and said he was sorry for interrupting and that he would be on his way. Felt like we were being watched after that. kinda freaky.
my friend and i sent in a ticket saying that we were bored and to take us on a magical adventure (no lie) then after a while, one answered and appeared to us in that same type of gear. He then started to turn us into giraffes and frogs and stuff. he made us jump super high then teleported us to random placed in the game. it was indeed a magical adventure haha
I saw one on New Years eve a few years ago. We walljumped onto the wall of Stormwind to see the fireworks better. We spent hours on it, and just as we all were ontop of the wall, a GM appeared and told us to get off. He also polymorphed some of us into monkeys, made some big fireworks and disappeared again =D

If there is problem that a gm has to see, like a buggy encounter etc. they usually wrap to you, but they are invisible. They can see you and the party/raid chat as well but It isn't very ofter that you actually see their toon in game. Like someone said, they used to appear more in Vanilla, even for fun in major cities and stuff.
I was walking around in Ironforge minding my own business when suddenly a GM gnome appeared infront of me and "polymorphed" me into a monkey. ( in burning crusade)
ive seen 2-3 saw one in Gurubashi arena :s there were alot of trash talkin and than he was there in 2 secs and dissapeared again, than he/she started making firework, and alot of campfires. and the second time were when i needed helm with the illusion elixir, and than i asked him to take a dinner with me than he shown up and we were eating a dinner :)

NEver really saw one, but when i just started playing.. I fell under UC once. Made ticket and GM said he would teleport me to Orgrimmar. I ended up on GM island but got DC'ed instantly. When i came online he whispered me again apologizing.
i have never seen one in the game but a guildy of mine was once whispered by one without having a ticket opened or anything with the words "whats up you smelly horde?"
about how it works with invisibility its a command that gms can enter that makes them 100% invisible to everyone so its not possible to be only visible for one person
and as far as i know gms are not allowed to show themselves to players ever.
Back when ICC first came out, my guild was top on the server, so we had common encounters with GM's (For testing reasons), but there was a really funny one :P. The first time after we first defeated Marrowgar 25m heroic, a GM came in, as a giant Tauren warrior, and cast Bladestorm and yelled "BONEEESTORMMMMM"..lol :P
one time in WOTLK I was randoming and there was someone who claimed she was a gm, so the thing that happened was she singled one of the bosses without our help, she had no class, and she had orange mage armor that I never saw before. I think someone in the group was a friend of hers
In Dark Age of Camelot, a game master flew down as a crystal thing and froze my character from moving on the Mordred Free for all PvP server because I was inside the albion bridge. They gave me a warning.
In WoW, I saw a GM in the game that came to help me complete one of the buggy mage class quests in stormwind.
I have met a game master one time :) i had bugged a quest line and asked for help hesaid il do the bugged quest for you so that you can compleat the Qline. Right before he was going to logg on my charr i asked if he was in game while doingstuff. he then teleported to me and told me that i could not have hes Gm's sandals.. but it was really awesome
U.S. Staghelm had an awesome GM that would que for pvp outside of Org so Horde could beat on him ^^. Currently staghelm horde has a 81 dragonkin permanently stunned and shielded in our Auction House x3 Gotta love GMs

I had a problem with a quest buging out on me and opened a ticket, gm whispers me, bug was fixed. He then asked, like they always do, "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" I said yeah I'd like some cookies. Blood elf GM appears infront of me and opened trade window and gave me the cookies. When you eat them, you turn into a giant slug thing lol

I've seen one. And Yes, it will only appear to the guy asking for it. I had a problem with a mount, and it was at ToC Instance, i was the only one to see him.
Had a GM appear in Ulduar when trying Hodir. We had a loot drop from trash we couldnt trade to the guy who needed it so we made a ticket and just before we tried Hodir the epic GM Harnboggle came and saved the day. Turned us into animals and pirates and watched us die 5 times on Hodir. Good times, good times..

He appeared to everyone, told everyone to back off. When noone did, he killed all the players in the area. It was great!

I made a ticket because my account was hacked, normal ticket and all, but the GM came down out of no where on his rocket boots and said he just got back from space, where he was fighting aliens trying to harvest the moon lolol.

Saw a human lock in BC speed hacking in WSG. He got 2 caps in the first minute then just toyed with the horde. The whole ally team was accusing him in chat, he claimed to be a bored GM on his break. Made me lol.

First GM I met was GM Xavalash, who turned my pet into a pirate, myself into a giraffe and my mate into a cow; whilst on mounts, he also dinged 60-80, also threw the abomination at Shadow Vault around.
The 2nd I met was whilst I was in Quel'thalas, he appeared and started dancing and chatting with me... Tarou was his name I think.
The 3rd was when a quest in Hyjal glitched and I continued to Deepholm, the GM teleported me and helped me sort out the quest...
In all of these the Gm was shown ^^,

I have seen a GM once and have been playing since 2006. It happened in Howling Fjord where a quest should start an event with Lich King. The event never happened so I opened a ticket. The GM appeared floating in the air. He was a Tauren Druid and I was alliance but offcourse we had no problems communicating.

I was in a guild a long time ago, and our guild master decided to throw a party for one of our guild members. Our guild master had us come to somewhere in TM for the party. We all got there and he told us to watch, and in like 5 seconds, a GM appeared and actually wished the person a happy birthday. What an awesome birthday present from a friend in WoW.

The only GM i've ever seen was in Dalaran on the server moonglade EU back in WOTLK. He was a gigantic orc, and i mean GIGANTIC, he was like twice as big as the bank in Dalaran. He had a pirate costume and was running around with double oxheart heroic version from ICC.

Never seen one. But had a cuple of "suspicious" run-ins when playing on my old roleplay realm. Was a small event and some random orc ran in naked. started dancing. and a few seconds later he fell through the world. Showed up about 1-2 minutes later ( with clothes on, i might add ) and said he was sorry for interrupting and that he would be on his way. Felt like we were being watched after that. kinda freaky.

my friend and i sent in a ticket saying that we were bored and to take us on a magical adventure (no lie) then after a while, one answered and appeared to us in that same type of gear. He then started to turn us into giraffes and frogs and stuff. he made us jump super high then teleported us to random placed in the game. it was indeed a magical adventure haha

I saw one on New Years eve a few years ago. We walljumped onto the wall of Stormwind to see the fireworks better. We spent hours on it, and just as we all were ontop of the wall, a GM appeared and told us to get off. He also polymorphed some of us into monkeys, made some big fireworks and disappeared again =D

If there is problem that a gm has to see, like a buggy encounter etc. they usually wrap to you, but they are invisible. They can see you and the party/raid chat as well but It isn't very ofter that you actually see their toon in game. Like someone said, they used to appear more in Vanilla, even for fun in major cities and stuff.

ive seen 2-3 saw one in Gurubashi arena :s there were alot of trash talkin and than he was there in 2 secs and dissapeared again, than he/she started making firework, and alot of campfires. and the second time were when i needed helm with the illusion elixir, and than i asked him to take a dinner with me than he shown up and we were eating a dinner :)

i have never seen one in the game but a guildy of mine was once whispered by one without having a ticket opened or anything with the words "whats up you smelly horde?"
about how it works with invisibility its a command that gms can enter that makes them 100% invisible to everyone so its not possible to be only visible for one person
and as far as i know gms are not allowed to show themselves to players ever.

Back when ICC first came out, my guild was top on the server, so we had common encounters with GM's (For testing reasons), but there was a really funny one :P. The first time after we first defeated Marrowgar 25m heroic, a GM came in, as a giant Tauren warrior, and cast Bladestorm and yelled "BONEEESTORMMMMM"..lol :P

In Dark Age of Camelot, a game master flew down as a crystal thing and froze my character from moving on the Mordred Free for all PvP server because I was inside the albion bridge. They gave me a warning.
In WoW, I saw a GM in the game that came to help me complete one of the buggy mage class quests in stormwind.

My GuildMaster was doing an instance with me in a full Guild group.
She had a GM ticket for a reason that had nothing to do with the instance ... we hadn't even begun yet.
The GM came and only she could see him/her ... and we were freaking out as we couldnt, though my Gmaster was in /s chat.
She said his/her name in party chat and so i type an emote of dance with *Gm name*
My Guild master then told me that the GM actually cheered at me and started to dance back with me! It was awsome :D!

I have met a game master one time :) i had bugged a quest line and asked for help hesaid il do the bugged quest for you so that you can compleat the Qline. Right before he was going to logg on my charr i asked if he was in game while doingstuff. he then teleported to me and told me that i could not have hes Gm's sandals.. but it was really awesome

I had a problem with a quest buging out on me and opened a ticket, gm whispers me, bug was fixed. He then asked, like they always do, "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" I said yeah I'd like some cookies. Blood elf GM appears infront of me and opened trade window and gave me the cookies. When you eat them, you turn into a giant slug thing lol

i was doing WOTLK naxx one time on gothik and the GM came out of nowhere and just helped us out.....crazy.....another time when i sent in a ticket about something (i just joined SOTA) and i was talking to the gm and i accidently jumped off the boat for attacking and then i said crap i just jumped off the boat in strand gotta swim all the way there and *poof* i was on the boat again

Had a GM appear in Ulduar when trying Hodir. We had a loot drop from trash we couldnt trade to the guy who needed it so we made a ticket and just before we tried Hodir the epic GM Harnboggle came and saved the day. Turned us into animals and pirates and watched us die 5 times on Hodir. Good times, good times..
