Why does everyone generalize all Officers into the same 'scum' bucket? It's not true. Not all Officers are bad people. I will admit some of them do in fact need to be fired, but not all of them are horrible human beings. - Now will this girl ever trust another Officer in her life? Obviously not. But if both sides of the story were thoroughly investigated and this is in fact the end result. I do hope those people get exactly what they deserved.

@HarukaxMichiru The "investigators" never looked too hard into this case, otherwise they KNOW what they would have found.

Instead they got the police reports from the sheriff, rubber-stamped them as fact and passed it off as an "investigation".

Even some of the newspapers printed stuff they KNEW to be lies about this case. (Which really surprised the hell out of me!) I can expect some distortion or bias...but out right LIES?!?!?

This case has been a real eye opener on our Police State.

I talked to the FBI supervisor John Dysart about this case. He tried to BS me around, but found out I knew a lot about this case. I even had him admitting that they KNEW she was not suicidal, but then he tells me to go to an airport & tell them I have a bomb (sarcastically) and see "what happens".

BTW you are right about all the cops not being bad. Sheriff Swanson always tried to sell this as a drunk woman out of control.

But besides witnesses at the scene saying that she wasn't that drunk there is also the next shift at the jail that testified to investigators that they could detect NO EFFECTS, or even SMELL of alcohol on Steffey.

Its just too bad the guilty got away with these abuses...hopefully there IS Karma in the world and it will catch up with these guilty scum.

Instead defending himself on a lawsuit, be a man, be a public servant, admit the dept messed up, terminate ALL involved, prosecute those involved, institute and enforce policy that guarantees this never happens again. Saw this on WKYC 11:00 news tonight and was sickened by what I saw! 7 deputies, men and women, RAPED that woman in a jail cell and she was the VICTIM of a crime. They were supposed to be HELPING her! It is shameful that people we trust to enforce the law have no moral compass of their own. They themselves committed a crime in the name of "the law". I hope those deputies ALL go to prison for this! I wish her, her husband and family peace and healing from this traumatic event.
