  • hehe, don't panic...

  • if a food shortage was coming we would need to share our food not hoard it and fight for it like psycho greedy people. if you got food now and saved it for later what good would it be watching everyone else die out ?

  • you do know food from those stores only last a maxium of 3 years so if the world does not end in 2012 you will be kicking yourself for being tricked !

  • IM READY WITH MY $40/MONTH FOOD STAMPS!!! HA HA HA I know this problem.

  • @Tilleyass sadly once food supplys are really low FOODSTAMPS can't be used anymore as companys will stop taking them !

  • good forsite

  • I noticed I can't find smuckers strawberry at my local dollar grocery store, which was weird they've all always carried it. But yeah I've price noticed prices

on milk stuff and meat is way expensive so I bitch every week. I told my mom I was going to put the garden again next year and start canning again cause damn it's necessary theses days just to get by.

  • Where the hell is the food shortage? You'er showing a well stocked grocery store, the prices are similar to where I live.

  • @jpugh216 I know everything is fine. The government will tell us if there are any problems. When storms come around my house, there is always plenty of food and no lines. Always easy to find bread and milk during a crisis. This guy is over worried.

  • Go to your local grocery store. Walk around, look closely at some of the shelves. Some of them look like old mother hubbard's pantry. Today I noticed that the milk coolers were very low on milk at a very large grocery chain store. It does kind of make you think of shortages. I think we will see a day when a loaf of bread will cost $20.00, and a gallon of milk $35.00. 07/08/2011

  • We ain't seen nothin' yet! This is merely the beginning of birth pangs. Prepare now! Store nutritious foods, water in drums, household supplies & silver rounds. There will be many supplies that will become hard to find as companies close. Study emergency 1st aid & stock up on medications/OTC. Tools, firewood, blankets, gas/oil, bicycle. Buy a firearm & use wasp spray for those pesky gangsta thug car jackers. 1 spray lasts all day!

  • "Food Crisis like never before" obviously reading some more about history would broaden your view on how things are going right now.... Scarce food? where? I see tons of perfectly good food in the trashcans and in the back of restaurants everyday... maybe it's time for people in developed countries who depend on extreme consumerism to start being smarter about their choices... -_-

  • Eat the rich scumbags who hoard all the money and use it to gamble on the stock market.

  • fuck cheese. hate that shit.

dude the oats were only 1.88. So what cookies are $2.53. Is it THAT bad right now? I know things have risen in price, but hey shit used to be a nickel right?

  • Let me ask a question a little off topic.

could the elites possibly stop the collapse at this point or are we at the point of no return?

are we just patiently awaiting the inevitable?

maybe they wont ALLOW a collapse.

what are the possible scenarios to watch for?

  • @uRn1diot There aRE several possible ways that collapse could be stopped, non guranteed.

1] Humanity finds a new Energy technolgy that is cheap abundant and clean.

2] Nice Advanced Aliens come to earth give us new technology that solves all our problems. -Not likely

3] Humans start transitioning to a new system called the Resource Based Economy as proposed by the Zeitgeist movenent.

4] The Technical Singularity occurs befor complete collapse-See Ray Kurzweil Singularity - AI.

  • dude take it easy...you're driving people crazy here. we can still grow more food. it just costs money. so capitalism doesnt work. yes it's a problem. but CALM THE FUCK DOWN

  • I have a hand crank pasta maker. This is good, just flour and water.

  • Americans should grow more of their own food in their backyards. Hens do not require much care and they lay eggs, pretty much daily! A goat can provide a whole family with milk and cheese. Have a greenhouse!

  • do you have a supply of aditional propane tanks

  • I rarely buy hot dogs, but the other day I had a taste for chili dogs. All beef hot dogs were $5.79!! I couldn't believe it

  • Most creatures have some manner of "die off event" if they over populate for some reason. They run out of some essential resource. We usually attribure that nature to some kind of social animal or animal that lives as a group. Most of that applies to us but the dispairity is cumulative and ordered. We should see this, but the "normalcy bias" prevails.

  • @hypnofan35 As crazy as you are with your inside the earth people theory you do make a lot of sense sometimes. Stick to makeing sense and away from the center of the earth people. You are a smart guy.

  • @valhala56 Some things are "out of sight and out of mind". Hollow earth is simple. and "outer surface like". The concept has a long history but is not popular presently. But why? you ask.. NASA says so. If it was a big lie, then NASA would be the way to go. Figuring it out is a physical mechanical problem.. Add up the gravity at different points and figure out how it pulls and prevails. You will find that 'solid' is highly unlikely if not impossible for any planet.

  • There is actually food on the shelves there so; that's pretty good. The times do seem to be darkening. Here's a thing; i think the total number of people has "mutiplied" by about 4 since i began my life. i decided i would not procreate. Obviously we are cruising for disaster and we don't know who's at the helm. What if it is "planned" to mess up? What if Fukushima was not a complete "natural disaster"?. The rulers are keepning us in the dark. That sound like a nasty surpirise.

  • @hypnofan35 Me too. I dread to bring kids into this world. They're only going to have an even harder struggle than us.

  • Yes, I am so glad you are storing food for your beautiful girls.. I hope folks wake up, especally with kids to feed... Packages shrinking, the mSM is finally reporting on that one.. 5 lb bag of sugar now 3.9 lbs, 16 oz corn now 13 ozs, less squares of toilet paper and a smaller paper core.. They think we are stupid!!

  • @savgal1211 Mostly we are! Moo !

  • prepare now get the word out fast. food and water

  • continued from below - if we look at bible and koran they have similar stories, only islam is not a peaceful region its opposite to bible to cause killings etc.

this might sound crazy but remember people to think if we see it- a false christ, will be taken down by anti Christ the Islam Saviour then Satan himself later appears on the seen as world Saviour him and all his UFOs

  • check this out, search this, many news channels have put this out- The Battle Over Government Spending: The Endgame Is Near- is this what it sounds like?

there might be the worse terror attacks very soon, rt news. remember Qaddafi has chemical weapons and he going to go nuts on the world if they go nuts on him. i think there a whole set up to this Libya war. check this out very IMPORTANT-.youtube.com/watch?v=R1BbLQ2Xw18

EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING TO SCRIPTURE, SEEK GOD IS THE ONLY WAY

  • @SEEKtheRealTruth No, Libya has no nukes, as Gadhaffi or Qadhaffi ( whatever) gave them up and surrendered them cause Bush scared his ass into it! Thanks to God that he did!! He was told he better..

  • Money as currency is not the way to go, another solution should be prepared soon.

  • @videotitan1 It was worked out long ago. Read the books of Bertrand Russel. Apparently electronic government credits will be issued which you cannot save. ''Use or lose''. Should you become ''anti-social'' [USSR style] you gets no more credits =[

  • The condescending comments I've received over the years because I have no children and live debt-free, with few gadgets, have been painful, hurtful. They don't know about me or what I would have wanted. But consideration as to whether I could care for and support a child has always been forefront in my mind. I've usually prepped. I started in the early '80s. (Also, PMs.) Read "strange" books, such as WHEN YOUR MONEY FAILS. All this panic NOW is a dollar short and a day late, no?

  • @slobomotion Hey, I am GLAD I have no kids and have never looked back! Got a couple of older boys ( step), but I like Dogs better, and kids are WAY WAY to expensive.. I never regretted this decision, no way!! I like kids ( other peoples) but not having them is a HUGE blessing, especially now!!

  • @savgal1211 Woohoo! Thers someone else out there who thinks like me! Lol

  • @savgal1211 I have two female friends, married, kids already there, and they love it!

  • @slobomotion Hah!! Yeah and skip those pesky stretch marks!!

  • @savgal1211 I do try not to judge, and sometimes I feel a bit of jealousy, longing or sadness when I see friends and their offspring. But having been a live-in nanny for three little ones, a nursery school teacher, and having so many male and female friends who sigh and express their regrets over going the "breeding" route, I try to keep things in perspective. The ones I know who got the ready-made families were totally tickled to be step-moms! It seems to have worked out! xo

  • @slobomotion You are right, Thanks. And I am in healthcare so I get to extend a Mothering Influence.. Great that you have so much to give!!

  • @savgal1211 Bless ya. You know, the sin of Envy is a mofo. sigh

  • @slobomotion Blessings to you, Dear.. All best for you and yours!

  • have you thought about how you will cook that food if you have power shutdowns ???

  • @PREPAREORSUFFER No, I doubt it. It used to be SOP to have a country place, not hooked up, where everything could be done the old way. I guess people forgot all about that, during the "good times."

  • @PREPAREORSUFFER Build your own stove that burns rubbing alcohol. watch?v=N6u7lJaqhhM

  • @PREPAREORSUFFER On the grill

  • looks like you buy food at stroke-o-rama. Those prices are ridiculous.

  • Yes, its about to all fall down on us, and people are still just concerned with dancing with the idiots and charlie sheen.... We arent going to escape this for much longer. Just ask God, we are getting all his wrath soon since we have become the wickedess people on earth, Usa is the great whore and mystery babylon...

  • @stevey65 But Charlie Sheen is funny...

  • Steam fresh asparagus till done then serve w/ a side of mayo. Mmm muy bueno :p

  • The world is getting tired of the USA bitching about how bad they have it. You guys have had it so easy for so long. The cheapest oil, food, half income taxes, and houses!

I can sell my shit house in Canada now and buy one twice the size in the states if I wanted.

  • @NofSam One of the many perks by telling the King of England to shove it.

  • @tuubydude touche

  • @NofSam Americans get so angry when I tell them they are the least-taxed people on Earth! (I am US-born but EU now.)

  • Hey i was looking at the prices of the food in your video. In the GREAT WHITE NORTH aka Canada I've been paying $5-$7 for a package of shredded cheese, $2.50 for a loaf of bread, and $4 for a carton of milk. These prices have stayed the same for years now somewhat. I've noticed recently smaller packages of potato chips, lower grams in cereal. But no drastic price increases. Now for my point main point, look at the currency exchange between Canada and the USA over the past 5 years.

  • @NofSam Live in Canada too & I beg to differ. Feed 6 people regularly, while perpare for disaster for 9 & yes food is going up. Milk remains the same, but add on cents here & there & soon the cost begins to add up.

Currently doing lots of dehydrating for emergency purposes (storage), while the cost is miminal & the recycling of product is feasible for soups & basics meals in the event of an emergency.

After the intial investment of an emergency kit for a household, the effort is worth it.

  • There is no point in panicking. Just plan. Get some seeds, learn to garden, and take care of your families.

  • Americans need to understand that they will soon go through what the rest of us are going through. Here in Australia, bananas just went to $13 a kilo. Good luck affording that when your shopping budget is $60 a week. There are lots of things they don't even stock anymore because nobody can afford them.

  • There can be a shortage on asparagus all day long, that stuff is nasty...

  • @ArizonaPublic =) but its sooooo good for you Mike !

  • @uspimpclub lol...i love asparagus, we just boil them in water just a little...you know food prices are going up, we love our veggies and fruits, for example green peppers are over a dollar each, we have a grocery store run outa business, and gas price are now $3.85 here for reg.

  • @jsimon8585 That is crazy! We just got three huge brocollis, organic, for one euro! (Paris Saint-Denis, France.) We have to wait until the green market is closing, then swoop in, but hey.

  • @ArizonaPublic Have you had cream of asparagus???

  • @ArizonaPublic No, I LOVE me some asparagus!! Got some growing in the garden!!

  • @ArizonaPublic: Mike, read about the positive effects asparagus has on cancer...
