The pond is about 5 and a half feet deep....we live in Phoenix, so we need a very deep pond to keep the water cool in the summer! We also recommend a really good filtration system.

You are smart to start off with goldfish....my son designed and built this pond by himself and we have had some of the fish for over 10 years.....any kind of fish is very relaxing to watch....
Wow! What a good son! I love the design. That explains the size of some of your koi. Very impressive! My goldfish are getting quite large! Some even had babies already last yr. and it is not even 2 yrs old til this July. So I guess I did ok.
How old are the koi NOW and how old when you got them. Also are you from japanies origion??? Thanks great video.

just making sure you have an UV lite sterilizer installed for clean clear water instead of foggy green water.
