Oh how Detroit has degressed, once she was great, motor city center of the auto industry, now shes just a shadow of what she used to be. I just hope its not too late for Detroit
The video is right. There is a torch that still burns. Hope is alive in Detroit, and I feel that hope is growing. Our darkest days are behind us, but the people of Detroit need to get Mad! This video makes me get Mad!! It makes me want a better Detroit.
Very provocative video about the greatast of all cities -- Detroit. I wonder where they got all those amazing pictures?? More than that, though, I'm curious as well about the new building mentioned. It wouldn't surprise me if it has something to do with alternative energy (the video mentions energy and light) and the state of Michigan has been investing heavily to create jobs in that sector as a replacement for the dying auto industry.
This video is amazing and haunting at the same time! It makes you ache for what Detroit once was and what it has become. What is coming this Fall 2008 - what is the building that is mentioned? Does anyone know?
sell it all for a buck and get out of there.

I like Detroit, but you can't do anything with a city counsel like that. Success takes leadership.
