  • in australia - go to the counter they say

"yo what the fuk ya want?"

  • MONKEY!!! Look at that beard! I am having nostalgic time watching your videos. This is my gaijin premier!

  • damn, I wonder what they will do if you leave them a $100 tip......

  • Good series. Informative and fun without being exploitive or clownish which seems a bit of a tough line to navigate in the "gaijin-meets-Japan" narritive.

    Accolades.

  • In Los Angeles, they sing IF you tip them.

  • I thought all Coldstones sing though... ? If they don't sing for you, you can always ask them to.. They have you memorize the Coldstone song to work there. I guess singing in Japanese is slightly cuter though.

  • nope not at my coldstone in washington they only serve it to you

  • They sing in Washington. I live there. XD They have to sing. It's a requirement there. They'll avoid it if they think they can though, and maybe if their manager is gone.

  • Like all the others are saying, they do this all over the US. You normally just have to tip them first.

    -=The Prynce

  • I thought the Japanese usually don't accept tips.Has this changed?

  • Usually they don't. Good observation. It's funny cause the tip jar is full of American money.

  • I used to work at a Cold Stone in Puerto Rico and I'm telling u we sang our a*** off and in Spanish too :)

  • wow im so going there :]

  • The idea of singing in ColdStone is nothing unique, when my friend and I were accepted to work at the 1st ColdStone in our area they give you this big freaking pamphlet with songs you have to sing if someone orders something or gives you tip.Last time I was in NewYork's they were singing also. So its not only in Japan. Cute Vid still.

  • Tokyo is so much fun to visit.. i was there last summer to visit an uncle.. post more vids!

The idea of showing how Japanese culture is different and unique is a great idea! ja nee
