Well,color me stupid.I served on the U.S.S. Guadalcanal LPH 7 . I was ignorant of this ship and it's history.What look's interesting is how long this ship is? compared to the Lph7 which was a helicopter carrier.

I am looking for information on the USS White Plains CVE-66, an escort carrier that served in the South Pacific in WW2. I am especially looking for information on carrier aircraft service unit personnel that may have served on her in 1944. This is a great video.
