I rode my m/cycle accross Dartmoor many times in the 60s Never had the pleasure of hiking though.Very nice video, brings back memories. I live in the USA now..
We recently did another trip to Datrmoor, this time just taking 10 items with us each! :) Unfortunately my camera died on Day 1, I wanted to do a video about the trip but couldn't! Instead I tried to make up by taking lots of photos istead. If you visit our website and take a look at the blog you will see a post about the trip and lots of lovely photos.
Great vid guys, i thought fox hunting was illegal these days?, and the big fellor looks like he needs some more p.t sounds as if he was going to croak on top of the hill. :)
Those hills are as bald as your head. lol. I see some Maxpedition gear there. Great scenery. You have some beautiful trail in the UK. I heard someone say "Yo Bear". Ya got bears there? What about poisonous snakes? Great video brother. Thanks.
If your near the South-west of England you can! Checkout the Events page on my NaturalBushcraft website, we've got an open gathering coming this Sat, Sun & Mon! :) It's a great chance to share & learn some skills for free, great friendly atmosphere of likeminded Bushcrafters.
i live in the SE though unluckily, i just got back from an afternoon in the woods, great fun, i have already had a look on the website and seen that the next one is cornwall
Hi Paul, im glad you liked the video. I knew I wanted to film something whilst I was out there but I didn't know what, so I just filmed a load of random parts and then enjoyed putting them together when I got home, turned out alright I think :)
Im just about to checkout some of your videos now. All the best,
Brilliant video, thanks for filming the videos, I have subscribed to you and always look forward to more! I do a lot of walking etc in North Wales were I live. It looks a lot like were you were here! All the best to everyone! I will donate money again soon I hope...

Yeah it was the Devonport leat we were walking beside. We camp near Burrator reservoir, thats all im saying. Pop on over to NaturalBushcraft's Chatroom for more info.
I climberd Mt Warning on the east coast of Australia yesterday. Im paying for it this morning. My legs feel like two wooden planks. I would rather have been doing Dartmoor like you fellars.

It's a British hunt where people go across the countryside on horses, with huge packs of dogs looking to hunt foxes. Pretty sure it's banned now but they still go out to exercise the dogs and it's hard to police. They were just passing us so I thought I would film.
Edge of burrator forest?
