This was a nice collection to me. Yes, it did have that old fashioned grandma-like flare to it but I think he made it work. And it's quite artsy. It makes me think of the high rollers from the Titanic movie. Classic and rich. I'm sure people who can afford to wear couture clothing like this get tired of the same thing, some days don't ya just wanna wake up, throw on some sweat pants... and still look good?? I think it's creative, and impressive not to have an inspiration. An artist at work.

As an artist, I know that inspiration is in us always whether it's concious or unconcious. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of marc, but this collection truly upset me. How dissapointing when you've seen work like what he did for Perry Ellis. You know he's not an idiot, if not a genius, so why would he make something so unexplained and stupid. Whent there is no inspiration or concept other than selling, how can you give direction?Fashion design is never a fine art, this is an example of that. ugh.

HAHAHA yeah, I wouldn't say the clothes are ugly, but the looks are. The way they put it together looks like what a grandma wore in the 80s... and NO INSPIRATION??? wow, marc, how much more amateur do you want to look? This collection is pretty horrible and it's sad when they have so much authority to make something truly beautiful... Sonic youth was the only part that I liked. Haha, looks like marc is tired, maybe they procrastinated. NO INSPIRATION... wow- amateur and immature... bad marc, bad

OMG! I love how Marc is just being a dick to people about starting the showing on time because everyone gave him such a hard time for his tardiness in past seasons lol! But I thought this collection was really on trend. And you can't really hate him for being quirky because that's him. I live his collections for Vuitton better. I mean they have the same kind of mood, yet Vuitton always has that extreme blaitan lux about it and Marc Jacobs collection always has a urban New York coolness about it.

i dont know why you guys hated this so much, i really like it. though the styling might have been a bit odd, but if taken apart there are wonderful, wearable seperate. DID NOT like the headbands though, they're fugly .
