The opening animations changed to reflect character revelations in the anime fairly frequently, but the actual song was only remixed for all seasons save for the last - Sailor Stars - where a different song from Moonlight Densetsu was used.

I prefer Moonlight Densetsu.

They were fairly straightforward about it. They didn't say "miko", I don't think (but if they ever did, it's not like I'd remember. I was just a kid). I think they just called her a shrine girl or something like that.

I love it because the song is slightly sped-up. I like the song at normal speed but at the slightly-faster pitch on this clip it sounds even better. In fact, anything sounds better when its pitch is increased just a little bit higher than normal speed. I'm weird like that! :-P

I absolutely love this song, it's one of my favourite Anime songs of all time! The part at 0:49-1:00 is the best thing I've ever heard in a song. I LOVE how it sounds slightly higher than the original Moonlight Densetsu, it's much MUCH better! I must've watched this video 500+ times by now, I've watched it every day for the last 2 years. XD

It's called "Moonlight Densetsu" and it's been sung by various artists. Moon Lips and DALI have both done the song. Try looking up one of them. I think this version here is the DALI version, but I'm not sure.

I think the Japanese one is the best too, but the English version was pretty decent IMO. When I was a kid I watched it in French and that dub is SO BAD I didn't want anyone seeing me listen to it. It sounds so lame and cheesy, I felt terribly ashamed.
