  • anyone notice 'no weapons, no defenses, no plan' thats almost the same as 'no plan, no back up, no weapons worth a damn' in the pandorica speech?

  • one of the best scenes ever

  • this scene gave me chills :D

  • I cry every time I watch this scene.

  • I'mma need this man to do some more Who. Somebody call Big Finish.

  • I've got the chills!!!!!!!!!!! I love Christopher Eccliston as the Doctor! I like David Tennant better but this was definitely a powerful scene, no doubt one of Eccliston's finest moments.

  • Does anyone know what the "lyrics" to the song are?

  • "But you have no weapons. No defenses. NO PLAN."

In other words, you over-accessorized pepper shaker, he's the most dangerous thing in the universe to you.

  • The 10th Doctor will always be my Doctor but I feel that people unjustly forget the 9th Doctor.

  • Hes the best)anyway))

  • Aaand this is why Christopher Eccleston should have replaced Davina. Not that I don't like Davina. I do. But, come on, after that no1 can say he wouldn't have been a great host! :D

  • What's the music at 1:20?

  • eccleston and david and rose tyler were the best ever ..that it ..and all of steven m. work and i have either read or scene somewhere before ...like twilight etcc ...but i must say i love your video ..thumbs up ! thank you for posting ...

  • I really miss Eccleston. Him and the writing in his series were just. So. Good. I did a complete series run from the New series to present day over this summer, and although there were plenty of Tennant and Smith bits that I've loved to bits in rediscovering them, there is quite a considerable part of me saying that Eccleston's is my favourite series. Good, proper sci-fi stories, excellent characters, phenomenal wit, proper arc-handling, and clever but simple writing. Just stunning television.

  • Haha. The Big Brother reference AND Big Brother was in that episode I believe. Cool stuff RTD. :)

  • Who is more afraid of who?? Are the Daleks more afraid of the Doctor or is the Doctor more afraid of the Daleks?? My guess is its the Daleks are more afraid of the Doctor because the Doctor doesnt really show fear....

  • We all have to grow up, but for 45 minutes on a Saturday night the Doctor can take care of that.

  • Best of the best!

  • This is why the 9th doctor is the best in my opinion.

  • NO....!!!!!

  • I love his reaction when the Daleks show up on screen: 0:52

  • I'm primarily a Tennant fan, but I Eccleston will always have a place in my heart.

This scene is exquisite. One of the best dialogues ever.

  • OPEN COMUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNICATIONS CHANNEL

  • We were watching this in class...then the bell rang. A lot of people actually stayed back to finish the 2 or 3 final minutes of Doctor Nine!

  • @coolartdudes Sorry. I know I don't know u or anything, but I have to say... you must have the best school ever! When I simply talk about Doctor Who at my school, most people look at me funny. You'd think I'm the time lord. Which I'm not. I'm definitely, definitely human... definitely. :)

  • @STARPD7 Oh. Our school is actually kind of lame. We just had the best teacher in the world. This was one ov my fav scenes. And when Rose dies.

  • Actually, I didn't make the "15 year old" comment. Someone else used my name.

  • @minggnim don't lie.

  • And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Christopher Eccleston was the most badass Doctor ever.

  • THE FEMALE WILL STAND, STAAAAND

  • Funniest scene of Doctor Who ever, with the Daleks saying: ''Alert, Alert, we are detected!!!!''

  • Funniest scene of Doctor Who ever.

  • Whats the music at the beginning.

  • @88HUSE : So that makes you... 15 years old? Does anybody really care what a 15 year gives a damn about?!

  • @minggnim Ouch man.

  • @minggnim what the hell? go away minggnim. you know i don't think many people care about you weird gay adults that watch doctor who, so don't be a bitch. do you know that dr who is made for children?, so isn't it a bit weird that you can just dismiss the children as if they're not dr who fans? they're very much allowed to say their opinion so just don't do that. and for the record i give a damn, and FYI that opinion was correct.

  • @bigbadpoo That you don't like Doctor Who doesn't mean everyone else watching it is a g@y adult...

  • @88HUSE see, i was 11, and i still love it :D

  • 9 - Hello!

    10 - allons-y!

    11- bowties are cool.

i know which ones my favourite

  • @cctc11891 Nine always said "Fantastic!" a lot. I always think of that as his equivalent of 10's "allons-y!". I guess 11 would be "geronimo", but he really doesn't say that as much as he quips about bowties. :)

  • Best Doctor Who scene I've ever seen -- though I haven't seen everything from Tennant yet, it's hard to imagine loving anything as much as I love this. Totally awesome. Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way.

  • @NoisyDemocrat

I think Ecclestan was the action Doctor. Tennant had more emotional material (had the best companion as well with Donna) and Matt Smith is a funny dork. All in all I think Tennant will always be the greatest.

  • @Lee86Cr: Of all the companions, Rose is my favorite. And when the series started anew after a 16 year hiatus, the title of the first episode was..."Rose"!

  • Best Nine scene. Ever.

  • love this scene it is the best part as the 9th doctor
