  • Pretty sure Bach would vomit...

  • How many would you need to do the whole thing? It takes both hands and both feet on an organ...

  • i would love to hear this piece played on several different coils simultaneously. That would be epic if done right.

  • they should use this with a little techno beat and a crazy light show for their next agt performance!

  • I'm sure if Bach had known, he would have composed exclusivly for Tesla coils :)

  • @minski76 If he had midi organ manuals he would have added a bunch of coils to an organ as well as other synths and things probably

  • Wow, this made me gigggle!

  • I like my thunder in stereo.

  • Phantom = fail

  • @Darkness55175

It's definitely toccata and fugue by Bach.

    sorry dude.

  • The Phantom Of the Opera Returns!!!!

  • No, this isn't Phantom. It's Toccata and Fuge by JS Bach.

  • No, the theme song for the phantom

  • Incedible sound !!!

  • wrong notes good try tho

  • дайте две!

  • How perfect and appropriate: the music that they usually play for mad scientists' castles, played on mad scientists' favorite device, the tesla coil!

  • @ferretyluv i found this from googling mad scientist

  • It almost sounds like you are playing a guitar. Pretty cool vid.

  • wonderful

  • I wonder if Nicola Tesla was able to see the music? very cool

  • hmm, i think i just came in my pants.

  • the higher the frequency of the electricity, the higher the note you hear. the lower the frequency, the lower the note again. very cool. i'd love to see the rest of this song though, its really an incredible piece by Bach.

  • You are my hero, please keep making these videos! I am now I will make a set of coils, or die trying!

  • the coils dont actually make the noise do they? they just spark when they get electricity sent by the signal going to the speaker right?

  • The coils are actually making the sounds that you hear.

  • @epilectrik Maybe it's more correct to say that coils make sparks that are making sounds. We hear spark vibrations not vibration of coils.

  • the Tesla coils are extremely high voltage the sound you hear is the arcs causing the air around them to basically explode same concept as Thunder the signal sent to them turns them on and off at a tuned rate to achieve the right sound frequency since the coils themselves operate at a much higher frequency tone is achieved by turning them on and off hundreds or even thousands of times a second based on the desired tone.

  • Can you do hard sync sweep effect? I'm trying to think of ways to get more timbres out of these XD Cool stuff.

  • Do these also split Nitrogen from the air like lighning?

  • sry bout the delay just seen post but yes Tesla coils do produce nitrogen oxides and ozone in very significant amounts and then can bond and form nitrogen dioxide or even nitrogen pentoxide (N2O5) which can damage lung tissue and even mix with moisture and form nitric acid when N2O5 is formed, yes even in your lungs they need to be well ventilated and you shouldnt expose yourself for more than a few mins a day

  • this is the perfect song for this stuff......

  • woot singing teslas love this song!
