My roombas constantly find new places to clean. I have the 610 Professional 3 pk. They clean the whole house in under and hour and then the Scoobas take over. I always wake up to a clean house. And the best part is the passion the robots have. "THIS AREA IS DIRTY SIR, I AM CLEANING IT NOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!" Hahaha. Such passion. Such pride. I love that.

I've heard that these model of Roombas breakdown over time, the brushes break easily and frequently and are hard to replace and hair gets caught around the plastic gears eventually burning and breaking the gears. From what I've heard the Roomba gets really loud as the gears are being damaged. I'm interested in getting a Roomba but not until they fix the defects and start using metal instead of plastic gears.

They work but I find them to be kinda crappy. I had a sock under my bed and it sucked it up into its wheel thing, and it ruined the wheel module. It was within the return period so I just returned it, because whenever it was on I spent more time keeping it from getting stuck in places and just plain watching it than if I had just gotten a handheld vac out and done it manually.

I can tell you that the Roomba cleans the carpets about as good as our Dyson. The first time I used the Roomba, i went over the carpet with the Dyson and only got a trace amount of dirt. The Roomba works very well!!
