Yes because the day before yesterday he was one day away from being 11 but he was still ten and that day was the 31st of december. At this stage he is 11. That year on december 31st he will be 12 and then next year on the 31st he will be 13. His birthday is the 31st of december.
@TyYann Yes I think so, in my opinion. He's saying it 1st of January and the day before yesterday is (TODAY!!!) December 30th, whn he is 10-year-old. Then he's birthday is December 31st, when he turn 11-year-old. Then in the next day, it's 1st of January, it is a year when he will turn 12-year-old, and in the next year he will turn 13-year-old. That's same was I was thinking, and I think this is the right answer. :-)
