John Landis on IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD

What a horrible review. With all due respect to the talented Jon Landis, this review truly needs to be redone or scrapped. First Mr. Landis says it's "great" then he says it's "not great," "it's not a good movie" and "not that funny." Then he gets the title wrong twice (he insists the word "Mad" is in the title five times -- wrong: four times).

If Mr. Landis is a friend of this movie, who needs enemies?

Actually a very deep meaning is the foundation for this sensational spectacle. If he doesn't even know the title, how well can he know the film? Translation: when he says "Not a great movie" it merely means "Not made by me or one of my friends". This is actually the very favorite movie of many, many people.

hat to disagree with ya John but this was a great comedy then and its still a great film,  and its 'mad, mad, mad,mad world... 4 not 5 Winters is great as the truck driver

Way to go into this unprepared, John Landis. Screw up the film's title twice by adding an extra "mad" each time, mistake Marvin Kaplan for Stanley Andelman (who?), interrupt yourself whenever another familiar cast member appears. Doesn't anybody prepare notes for this sort of thing?
