Bruce Lee died in 1973. Branden Lee died in 1993. Bruce Lee died befour Game of Death was completed. Branden Lee died befour Crow was finished. Game of Death was about Bruce Lee characters playing an actor who gets shot while filming. Branden Lee is shot and killed on the set of Crow. Both died under strange circumstance and at the point when they were reaching mainstream super stardom. Branden was movie away from "action" movies. He didnt want stylized fighs in Crow. Thats why Crows gritty.
"if people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. buildings burn, people die but real love is forever."
i really looove johnny depp but somehow i believe that brandon lee was bigger actor than him...to be honest he was one of the biggest actors of all times...he had genuine acting abilities, he could convey to the viewer a stong unexplained passion even after the end of his films just with his talent, with his kindness, with his simplicity, with his expressive truthful eyes....Brandon Lee you returned to the skies.. there you were belonging....rest in peace my dark angel..we'll never forget you.
This interview was just 12 days before he died he had no idea he'd be dead in less then 2 weeks. The sad thing is that this accident could have been prevented had they:
Not fired the firearms expert (he would have caught the dummy bullet stuck in the gun)
Not used live ammo to make blanks
Had the actor aim away from Brandon when he shot him.
Had someone bothered to check the damn gun to make sure it was clear before loading the blanks
@Zain844 wearing a vest-damn-you are so right, especially since i heard brandon was all for doing his own stunts. man, imagine that, he really would have been fine...i can't think about it anymore. i'm going to get sad and angry. :(
I know his damn reencarnation lol and he by all means does not behave... oh goddamn you for sending that stupid technician that didn't checked the bullets on the guns...
yeah but the circumstances were very different: Ledger abused benzos and painkillers and died of multiple drug intoxication, while Lee was killed on-set as a result of negligence. I'm not being judgmental, just pointing out that their deaths are not that similar, except for the face-paint.
4:58 I think no i feel like Brandon is basically saying to cherrish your life make it the most happy you can he said to live your life cause well we do not know when we will die...
Every time I hear "They Keep Calling Me" with that insane raging guitar it reminds me of Brandon Lee. What an amazing martial artist, an amazing action hero, and an amazing human being we lost.
i deeply admire how well he understood the character within the context of the story and how committed he was to the role. his statements are proof that the saying "acting is believing" is true. he really believed in this character. hail sir brandon lee. lol ;)
@Hamzidane I agree no one loads a movie film prop gun unless its some sort of blank used for flash and sound I loved the Crow movie and Brandon Lee its sad
@danzinnyman yeah, actually i am not sure because some detectives or something checked/investigated that there was a problem with the gun, something got stuck inside an no one new it was stuck, then it got shot into Brandon Lee, but there wasn't any professionals or anything that checked with the gun in the films, they tried to make it cheaper and because of that he died
I loved this movie although it would have been cool to see some martial arts in it because Brandon was such a talented martial artist but still an awesome classic.
Such a powerful film and it hurts to watch it at some points because Brandon Lee had passed away shortly after this amazing movie but as much as it hurts to watch I just cant deny myself from watching this masterpiece in other words I FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE WITH A PASSION! Much Love Goes Out To Brandon Lee You Will Always Be Remembered R.I.P
@MCPLUSTR He was killed while filiming the opening scene, which was actually filmed last so he could do the whole last week of filming without makeup. The part where Fun Boy shoots Eric (the character) was the shot that actually killed him. The gun had been used earlier in the filming schedule and was not checked for obstructions in the chamber before its use in that scene. Unfortunately, there was a blank cartridge still in there when it was reloaded with blanks for the scene.
@nardigan first of all its 'face-palm' your 40, please leave teen things alone. Second, twilight has fagpires. Not all movies are like twilight. Instead of comparing to dumb movies look at movies like Lost boys: the tribe. Way different.
I believe in vengeance that is if the cops can't find the murderer, I will. People might think this is wrong but I think there should be killers of killers. You kill, you die, simple as that. I mean execute them right there on the scene.
He'll be missed... I'm over 40 and at least Brandon's movie had balls unlike movies these days... This boys and girls was back when actors and movies weren't afraid to push the envelope. Now we have Twilight where vampires don't eat people. (head-palm) Miss these type of movies...
@rockyhugh in a way.it's the smile=)watch the "torture scene" in showdown in little tokyo when he's on the rack.he pulls a carrey face.it's uncanny.he's the handsome long lost half brother.brandon had great comedic timing.
@MMAFan69r Well, what's wrong with having another adaptation of the comic book. The Crow isn't a product of Brandon Lee or Alex Proyas, it's James O'Barr's comic book series which has had tons of issues, most of which starred characters other than Eric Draven. That's like if Michael Keaton died after the first Batman film and they didn't make another even to this day and someone saying there shouldn't be another film.
@MMAFan69r The first sequel, City of Angels was great. Number 3 and 4 were horrid pieces of scum that should NEVER have been made. THOSE were insults. But the biggest fucking insult of all is remaking it. I say, BOYCOTT the remake! WHO'S WITH ME?!
@Sasukelegend5 u r insane for thinking 2 was great it was bad movie 1 was the greatist masterpeice of all time but i do agree about the remake being an insult WHO IS WITH ME?!!!
@pancakes2000v2 Calling me insane for liking number 2, though not nearly the same level as the original, that's a personal insult. You need not do that. It's all up to interpretation, and seeing the little girl from number 1 as a woman in number 2, only to help the next crow added somewhat to the story, and tied the 2 together. However, number 3 and 4 had literally no connection. And that's why I say they were complete pieces of scum. Would you call that fair?
@Sasukelegend5 okay agreed that was unfair of me to call u insane and yes 2 did countinue the story but it the same story as 1 if they changed a few things about characters i might have enjoyed it more. agreed?
@pancakes2000v2 Fair enough. Like I said, It's all up to interpretation. However, even number 2 paled in comparison to the original. Brandon will always live in movie legend as The Crow.
@benjatron1701 Yep it's awful what happened to Brandon especially given the fact that he talks about how we don't when our time is up, weeks later he dies in a horrible accident. His death gives the film even more of an edge, it's rooted in reality; he was about to marry Eliza and has his life cruelly taken away. The parallels with the film and Brandons death are palpable.
I don't think so, I think Heath borrowed some aspects of the Crow, but nothing comes out of thin air, ideas all have an origin. Heath added some original elements as well to his character, the fact that he got some ideas from Brandon Lee's Crow however does not in anyway diminish the brilliance that was Heath's performance.
Heath made the joker his own but the make up or costume design has some explaining to do! A direct rip off. Also how some dipshit has not been pinned for not checking each fire arm correctly before each usage is just amazing. An awesome dude dies because someone didn't do their job. Bullshit.
Such a shame--this wonderful actor would have gone on to even greater roles..He has such a intelligence that puts todays actors (ie Twilight) to nothing.
He seems like such an intelligent person/actor. Such a shame that they were careless on the set and caused his death. Hope the special effects saw some jail time for this manslaughter.

He died way too young and we missed out on a lot of good this man could have done....his movies were going to be a lot deeper than his fathers that was the difference between him and his father but im not saying his fathers movies weren't great they were excellent too...what a chilling interview b4 he died....
I truly and honstly believe Brandon was murdered. The whole thing stinks too much and I just feel the timing of his death is very suspect. I remember after the success of Rapid Fire and the soon to be success of The Crow, Brandon stated he wanted to find out who/what really killed his father.
Hence why I believe some shadowy individual/group had him murdered before he could do so.
Still to this day even when i was watchint The Crow last night on blu ray it made my eyes water alittle thinking about Brandon but also his good acting in this film.........
He died because the film makers were CHEAP SKATES! Stop being such greedy fucking assholes and less mistakes will cause peoples premature deaths, you fucking assholes.
@12Ominous Not only did Heath steal the whole Crow look...but even the dinner scene in Batman Dark Knight is a ripoff of the Crow's scene where Brandon walks in on the criminals meeting and says..."Gentleman..."
@12Ominous so true when i first saw this movie i was a little upset with how similar he was to the joker but now i love it, brandon lee was an amazing actor and so was heath RIP
It makes me so angry.. to think that he was such a decent guy, how come this or anything like this has never happened before or since. My Heart wants to believe this was an accident as with his Father ~how many people do u know that have been claimed by a family curse~ Must make peace with the burning sensation that wants to ignite when i think `what could of been` Bloodlines as strong as this will always find away..
some channel here sends insults then blocks -- they run this video as redipstickgirl and i dont think it helps Brandon Lee REPUTATION when the channel image n video is brandon lee and yet the channel is not uploader of video -- i write this so you know who is using your stuff and images to send out insults -then run hide and block me . best love n light to
oke so a blank bullet killed him am not an expert on blanks but arent they specialy disigned not to be able to hurt people, and if a blank ore bullet is used they fall out of a gun ore stay where they are not go to the barrel?,maybe some1 put it there on purpes cause how manny times in filming history did it happens...
@FTWFeraldruids it wasnt replace a dummy bullet casing was lodged in the gun due to an inability of proper management of the gun prop and when the other dummy bullet was fired it propelled the casing into his abdomen
maybe thats the masterplane let every nice person who cares die and the asholes live and they crowd in between gets so scared they wont act? theory 1 want to hear my other 14 lol
He was a great actor and now their thinking about remaking the film. Brandan lee was Erice Dravine. People really need to stop remaking memories and great films.
Still such a gorgeous man.

@12Ominous Not only did Heath steal the whole Crow look...but even the dinner scene in Batman Dark Knight is a ripoff of the Crow's scene where Brandon walks in on the criminals meeting and says..."Gentleman..."

@12Ominous definately

FTWFeraldruids 5 months ago
@FTWFeraldruids it wasnt replace a dummy bullet casing was lodged in the gun due to an inability of proper management of the gun prop and when the other dummy bullet was fired it propelled the casing into his abdomen

He was a great actor and now their thinking about remaking the film. Brandan lee was Erice Dravine. People really need to stop remaking memories and great films.
