i have the line 6 pod and i use ableton to record the music i find that using vista it doesnt work as gd works much better on xp

hey, i'm thinking of buying the line 6 guitar port rifftracker, but i'm not confident that it will definitely work with my laptop...i have a HP Pavilion dv9000...i dont think its that old (possibly about 3 years old) although i just want to make sure if it will definitely handle the line 6 guitar port.

As far as we can tell, GuitarPort only supprts its own software,

ok i have the line 6 toneort ux8, and with it it come the gearbox but how do i get the riff tracker, that thing with the drums

What laptop do you use? Do you need a low latency hardware to use with it? Is it Dell compatible or do you have a Hardare copatibility list?
