I just bought massive and i have a nice little custom sound library but i want to make SONGS. What do i need to do to piece together y samples?? Plz respond.
@TheGlyn1234 I got ableton live 8 box set and uploaded downloaded the version they gave me from the website b4 i got the box. Now my vst plugin doesnt sound like it normally does =/. Is this because i dont have the downloads from the boxset and i also dont have a midi controller yet.
@TheDansterrrr i have never used ableton but i presume you just install the massive setup.exe and load the plugin in ableton, doesnt matter if you don't have a midi conroller you can use your computer keyboard......there will be plently of documentation online, google is ur friend...
@Fyeagass16 I agree that the presets suck, but Massive is designed to create your own sounds in the first place. If you're looking for something with good presets I would suggest a ROM synthesizer plugin like Nexus
@Fyeagass16 Massive is definitely not a waste. rather cheap for such an amazing synth. just take the time to learn how to create your OWN since thats what it is for. look up some tutorials. nzmusic101 has tons of great tutorials. only took me a couple days to get it well enough to make my own advanced sounds with LFOs and have them be what i want. should take a few minuted to learn how to make basic sounds. dont use presets!!! :) or use them as a starting point and mess with them to learn ;)

@TheDansterrrr fruityloops, reason, cubase, ableton....you need digital audio workstation software like that then you load the plugin into it.
