One of the best movies! I recently found it on dvd at fye in clearance! Brings back happy memories. I loved growing up with these types of movies. Someone mentioned My Girl. Another great one :)

i remember when this came out, i was about the same age as curly sue. and i looked a lot like her (except my hair wasn't curly like hers, but i did have the bangs) and people would see me and say "hey there lil' curly sue!" ahhh, those were the days.

6:30  - Tesio is played by a very young Steve Carell. Carell played Michael Scott on the Office; The virgin Andy Stitzer in The 40-Year old Virgin, he also plays the lead in the new movie Date Night.

@lindsaybud nope. but it sounds a lot like it.. the guy who composed the score for this film, Georges Delerue, actually died the year after this film came out. :(
