  • i plan on going into music therapy, but the college i attend doesn't offer it as an undergraduate program. i plan on getting my undergraduate degree in music performance, and then going to grad school to complete the rest of the therapy classes that i would need to fill the curriculum. i've heard this will work just fine.... but is it really true?

  • @jonsoncrack Hey! You would have to get the Equivalency in Music Therapy (the music classes and such would be the part that is fulfilled by the performance degree, but not the music therapy part) before a graduate degree in music therapy. The equivalency would not be a second degree and would take about two years to complete. There are a few schools that offer this equivalency such as Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. I'm sure there are others though. Message me if you have more questions!

  • The word is being spread about Music Therapy! EXCELLENT! I'm joining the TWU program Fall 09. Very cool to see what lies ahead..
