Firstly, comparing the Iranian economy to the Afghan "economy" (if you want to call it that) is a joke and shows how much you truly understand. Afghanistan has around 27% inflation, not 14%.
Secondly, Iran is suffering from high inflation for several reasons. Heavy sanctions imposed on Iran for over three decades usually does not help one's economy, I don't know though, maybe I'm wrong? A war lasting for 8 years usually doesn't help either.

my family have been farmers for quite a long time, & and only recently stopped. my grandfather lived thru the great depression, one thing he learned was to prepare for bad things so that when it does get bad YOU are not a drain on others. most peoples who live cose to the earth as its called here and survive off the land keep a ready supply of food. as to providing my on food i grow some of the things i need simply because i like the taste of fresh food better.
as to raising my own cattle, do you really know anything about that or are you just running your mouth? it takes around an acre and half to feed one cow, so if you have a typical family sized herd, enough to breed and eat, about 20-30 cattle you need around 30-70 acres just to support them, this is land that is otherwise of little to no use. i grew up in the country i know about living simple, and simply put the amount of land nessesary for what your talking about is quite large about 100 acres.
Dude you can have 4 cows in hectare that is 2 cows in 1 acre. For 30 cattle is 15 acres by only depending on forage. And i agree that is a lot of land for city people. Your grandfather was right, that is what i am talking about. But if you do not have land you can always have alternate ways like hydroponic and pisciculture in small tanks, no big deal. The thing is to realize, like you, that it is feasible to have a simpler life. We do not need thieves in banks and govt to survive.

Their economies are thriving because of those companies going over there. American's have lost many high paying jobs because of it. Those jobs and trade with those countries have stimulated their economies. What's even more rediculous is that Americans buy those cheap products which continues to force our jobs to go overseas.
Iran's largest export is oil, so I doubt Iran really applies to your [flawed] thinking. In any case, the other countries are simply reaping the rewards of globalization finally. I think you should be happy the whole world, and not the US is benefiting now.

Firstly, comparing the Iranian economy to the Afghan "economy" (if you want to call it that) is a joke and shows how much you truly understand. Afghanistan has around 27% inflation, not 14%.
Secondly, Iran is suffering from high inflation for several reasons. Heavy sanctions imposed on Iran for over three decades usually does not help one's economy, I don't know though, maybe I'm wrong? A war lasting for 8 years usually doesn't help either.

my family have been farmers for quite a long time, & and only recently stopped. my grandfather lived thru the great depression, one thing he learned was to prepare for bad things so that when it does get bad YOU are not a drain on others. most peoples who live cose to the earth as its called here and survive off the land keep a ready supply of food. as to providing my on food i grow some of the things i need simply because i like the taste of fresh food better.

as to raising my own cattle, do you really know anything about that or are you just running your mouth? it takes around an acre and half to feed one cow, so if you have a typical family sized herd, enough to breed and eat, about 20-30 cattle you need around 30-70 acres just to support them, this is land that is otherwise of little to no use. i grew up in the country i know about living simple, and simply put the amount of land nessesary for what your talking about is quite large about 100 acres.

Dude you can have 4 cows in hectare that is 2 cows in 1 acre. For 30 cattle is 15 acres by only depending on forage. And i agree that is a lot of land for city people. Your grandfather was right, that is what i am talking about. But if you do not have land you can always have alternate ways like hydroponic and pisciculture in small tanks, no big deal. The thing is to realize, like you, that it is feasible to have a simpler life. We do not need thieves in banks and govt to survive.

yes i've heard of vertical farming... but that still does not have anything to do with taking money out of the equation. yes we have the technology to power cars with batteries, but do you know how batteries are made? Large amounts of coal production is needed to make batteries, producing enough batteries to fuel the millions of cars around the world . Coal production will hit the highest it ever has, and therefore no end to green house gasses. We may be off oil, but not off fossil fuel.

If it weren't for greedy corporate american companies for sending our manufacturing jobs overseas, those countries wouldn't have the money to lend us. Their economies are thriving because of those companies going over there. American's have lost many high paying jobs because of it. Those jobs and trade with those countries have stimulated their economies. What's even more rediculous is that Americans buy those cheap products which continues to force our jobs to go overseas.
