  • Tony, This is really an impressive video you have put together. It really is interesting and informative. I hope that you enjoy many, many more years of use from your system and it has been a pleasure working with you at your facility.

Best wishes to you and all of the staff at KCLS.

    Respectfully,

    Al Holm

  • KCLS I love you. and now im in boston and miss you all the time.

  • I'm not sure what this is doing although it sure looks cool? I'm guessing books are in the crates? where did the books come from?

  • the books come from other branches or from shipments. there's a lot of holds and transfers between libraries (there's a lot of libraries in the KCLS system)

  • We have 43 libraries and thousands of holds every day, we are moving materials from one library to another as people want them and are then taking the items back to the owning library. It's an interesting job to have.

  • So cool to see where Debs works and what she does. What an efficient system!

  • What an awesome system! Way to go King County Library system!

  • That was great!! Thanks for sharing the process and information with us!! Keep up the good work KCLS
