Kenny Smith is good but listen to David Grier, Josh Williams, Clay Jones, Tim Stafford, Roy Curry, Cody Kilby, and Brian Sutton then come back and say Kenny Smith is the best. I'm not saying you're wrong but Kenny is in some awfully good company.

Keep in mind that Ron Block is from California so he's not Southern at all, neither is Dan Tyminski who is from Vermont. Both these guys are good but trust me when I say there are many musicians in the South better than Dan and Ron. I'm not criticizing either one. I'm just saying that guys like Cody Kilby, Bryan Sutton, Josh Williams, and many kids in the South you've never heard of would floor most folks with their talent.

If that's what you want to believe. To each his own. I never said they were bad and didn't even mean to imply that. They're good musicians but Dan is a fair lead player, much better at rhythm. Ron is good at lead I'm sure would tip his hat to guys like David Grier, Clay Jones, Bryan Sutton, Josh Williams, etc.
