  • I think you're wasting your time with that tool. Push the beckets in and tap the coils together as you go along stringing ! I have an excellent tool for tapping the coils down from above and up from beneath. I can show it to you if you're interested, send you a video or something. It is an American tool so you will probably be aware of it already. Best regards. SNB

  • In pulling up on the strings, and coaxing the wire at the agraffes, capo bar....how much pressure are you applying to settle the wire? I know pulling too much will break the tool. I enjoy your videos.

  • Kindof a low temperature welding... Solder is usually a mixture of lead and tin (though there are lead-free options) that when melted can join two metals. Not nearly as strong as welding. Silver solder is stronger than regular soldering, but requires a higher heat - though less than welding.

  • the pliers you made with the brass soldered.....how to you attach the brass? Is it a welding process, solder?
