I love how typing games are soon going to be a thing of the past, since all the social networks, and chat programs give people much greater incentive to touch type (i.e. expressing themselves quicker).

There isn't a kid in the world who would have played that game once the parents were out of the room.

You COULD learn to type by playing this game! I didn't spend enough time on it when I was a kid, so I had to buy a Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing disc. Much cheaper than the Atari home computer though.

Now you can learn to touch type for free online. NabiscoWorld has a typing game that I'm addicted to. I wonder if kids today know how good they have it.
