  • Not to wade again into the stale old pro-Jason vs. anti-Jason waters: but imagine Chicago with Chris Isaac instead of him... I know he's not a bass player, but still, the point is the vocals, and... well--whatever.

  • Walt said it would be hard pressed to find another band who has played for 41 straight years.

My response to Walt......Z Z Top 1969 to present. Same three members. No personnel changes, no stand ins, 14 studio albums, 6 compilation albums, 42 singles. All WITH THE SAME THREE ORIGINAL MEMBERS!!!!

  • @bluebrazos Not meaning to argue but he said that had played at the level they had for 41 years. Meaning, of course, being the largest charting U.S. band, more record sales than any American band, AND playing for 41 years.

  • They are amazing!

  • It's my understanding in the early '70's Cetera made a very crass remark @ Rolling Stone magazine and it was an on the record interview. He was the one who said it; the rest of them are having to pay for his indiscretion...and he's no longer in the band!

  • I blame Jann Wenner 1,000% for Chicago not being in the RNRHF. He has an issue with Chicago, and shame on him for making it personal.

  • THE TOP 5 ALL TIME CHARTING ROCK AND ROLL BANDS ON THE BILLBOARD 200 ALBUMS CHART

    The Beatles

    The Rolling Stones

    The Beach Boys

    The Bee-Gees

    Chicago

  • @OttawaNow The Beatles and Rolling Stones are mediocre at best, so popularity does not necessarily mean quality.

  • He didnt exactly need to strap on the old guitar, Chris Isaak....Hehehe better strapped on some conga's

For the rest, great show and great musicians Chicago

  • How cute is Chris and his YES I CANs.

  • Great interview; I had not seen this! Thanks so much for posting all of it! It is too bad they are not in the R&R Hall of Fame. In the interview, they would not elaborate on who they "pissed off." It was Jann Wenner (Rolling Stone magazine), over 35 years ago! If he were not in charge, it may be different.

  • Very cool, thanks.
