you know, I love Satriani, because his whole sound revolves around legato, and that takes him out of the category of "shredder" the term shredder means to play as fast as possible while picking as fast as you can, therefor shredding the string with your pick but the legato doesn't require near as much picking allowing you to go faster with less use of your right hand, so he's like in a league of his own, Fuckin love satriani <3 =D

C'est vraiment énorme, j'ai acheté un bouquin en allant acheter des Ernie Ball, "Joe Satriani : Professor Satchafunkilus and the Musterion of Rock". Je ne connaissais pas, j'adore. Je vais direct essayer Musterion ! =D

He did a concert in 09 at the Hammersmith Apollo. I only got a standing ticket round the edges and couldn't see the stage, but the sound was great!
