... this isn't really 'basics'..... This is crap you should know BEFORE actually getting into Java. Basics is Recursion methods, Parameter Calls, and other functions such as those.

It varies person to person, BUT If you consider this 'basics'... chances are you won't get far in the programming world.

I recommend stop looking for Java tutorials and start your programming into something more useful such as C#/C or even assembly if you plan on pursuing something in the hardware engineering world.

You can use assembly however you like, but its most commonly used in the HARDWARE engineering field due to a wide-range of compatibility with basic interfaces. Nvidia and ATI are two prime everyday examples of heavy-assembly programmers.

Lol impossible, Runescape cannot be hacked through java programming, the handle 90% of the important stuff serverside

They Deobfuscate there client making it confusing to understand the code if successfully decompiled and even when modified not much can be done, then encrypt there packets and they use a opcode system to discplace certain stuff

They encrypt there landscape with TEA Tiny Encryption Algorithom

Which is unencrypted by a packet sent from the server

One is a Runtime Environment, the other is a Development Kit.
