  • this loooks smexi!

anyway, what cp do u recommend for a first time cp flyer that has a simple head(or everything) design for easier repairs?

I am trying to move up from my honey bee v2

  • but is there a flybarless head for the scorpio 1&40?

  • oops not 60#b but v400d02,

    but still same question.lol

  • what would be the parts involved for making this aircraft flybarless?,I was thinking of buying the "swash plate and up parts" from a 60#b,is that physable?

  • hi....im going to get one of these 8 ch heli's...i have a 6 ch heli which is really hard to control...dont know where to adjust the settings....at around 20cm's from the ground the heli starts to spin anti clockwise at lift off....could you help me tune/adjust the settings for the heli pls?

  • can you help how do i stop my 3 channel heli from rotating right and fly straight ive tried the adjustment screw but not hlping much

  • the back prop is sharp

  • You have to plug the batt. too the heli, turn the radio on immediatly, the lights on the radio will flash for about 10 to 15 seconds, the blades will pitch slightly an then its ready. This heli is amazing, mos def worth the price. EXTREMELY stable and if you PRICE OUT spare parts you will notice they are very affordable!!

  • wow this heli is expensive i thought i might be able to buy this on christmas for my little boy but its damn expensive

  • @scoutandroid - my dad bought be a Art Tech RC Perfect 3D 6 Channel 400 - it is basically the same but half the price and it's better for beginners to intermediate flyers....I love it....I have crashed really hard and it still flys....you your son will have good luck for christmas this year.

  • im interested in this heli, do you recommend it for beginner who havent fly one heli b4?

and does the 6ch Flight Simulator help?

  • @fjge27 I strongly recommend that you DON'T get this helicopter if your new to flying. It's best to try a 3-4ch co-axial helicopter then use a flight simulator to advance to fixed pitch before ever moving on to a 6ch helicopter. The money you save on spare parts for this helicopter will even out with the cost of the 4ch helicopter

  • @xhelicopter lol like what i expected from NitroRCX, Xheli, and hobbypartz 5 out 5 service. thanks for the advice and not just trying to sell to product, but im going to buy it anyways cuz im really attracted to it =D

  • @fjge27 Alrights, but make sure to have spend a lot of simulator time

  • This is good advice, i had a coaxial for a couple months and then bought a 450 6 ch helicopter. It was very intimidating when i first got it and i've spent alot on spare parts.

  • you would never find a trex clone with a 7channel radio and a carbon frame with metal head and tail for anywhere close to 340, i think its a good deal.. stop hating

  • My issue with this helicopter is it's $340 and has a plastic frame whay at that price it should be CF not plastic sorry.

Atleast they had the common sense to make sure the head and tail assembly were metal and not plastic.

Build a Trex clone with CF frame & Blades better motor and ESC for less than this and you will have a much better Rc helicopter it's sad they puch this thing at such a price point.

Spend $340 on a Trex Clone and you could include a Spektrum dx6i as the radio.

  • thanks xheli AGAIN.! the rcdiscuss message board helped out alot..i received a real good answer from andy and now its working..for some odd reason the creata u turn the heli on first , then the transmitter last...weird but it works and he was right

  • okay..checking if the heli works but it wont do anything..i turn the transmitter on wait 10 seconds then plug the battery plug..i hear no noise..just red light flashing...move sticks around and nothing happends

  • You can give our tech support a call tomorrow from 9am - 7pm pacific time. Or go to rcdiscuss . com. we have live techs working there. You might have to unplug the heli and plug it in a few times see if that work. Also make sure your throttle stick is in the down position before turning anything on

  • another question...does the simulator make you adjust your trim ,throttle curve etc..?

  • There is no need to adjust the trim on the sim, as the settings are already perfect. every helicopter is different so the trimming on the sim is pretty much useless. You can adjust throttle tweaks, but only on certain sims

  • i flew a friends heli but it was a 3ch..is there a big diff. from a 4ch,,? thanks for the info xhelicopter...

  • not so much, but a 4ch will give you a realistic idea of how to fly it. 4ch gives you the ability to bank left and right just like this heli

  • i bought the training kit and simulator to practice with..i know it was dumb buying this heli for my first but im not going to fly it till i get it right with the simulator..

  • okay. i bought this heli as my first . dumb i know.. while im waiting on the simulator to come in i have a quick question guys...ive gone through the manual and i must be missing something..so how long am i supposed to charge the lipo battery for..? anyone know..?

  • You should charge until the indicator turns green, usually it takes 1-2hours for a complete charge. remember to get a training kit since this is your first heli, You might also want to consider practicing with a 4ch coaxial before actually taking this one up in the air. This way the money you save on the repair is enough to compensate for the 4ch

  • whether this type of helicopters have Gyro?

  • Yup, this heli has a gyro

  • I wouldn't buy this heli..there is much better than this and much cheaper...

  • At $340 price point I would not bother!

At that price you could build a much better Trex klone and it would blow this Walkatothehobbystoreforparts out of the air!

WARNING:RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS OVER PRICED HELICOPTER!

  • please can you tell me why you are of this opinion and what you would spend your money on as i do like this heli

  • Lots of critics out there-old quote"DON'T JUDGED THE COVER OF THE BOOK" (read each page first) try it and see what it goes THEN YOU CAN JUSTIFY YOUR OWN OPINION- that this heli is crapp

  • yeah, everything! looks stable and better in slowmotion psss, this heli is total crapp and for that price its just travisty

  • Why is that that almost every RC video has to have the stupid music? If you have to play music, why not something good? And why so loud?

  • I was almost sold on this until I looked at the cost of spare parts...$17 for the main gear is totally unacceptable. I'm not rich...hell, if I was I still wouldn't pay $17 for one gear. I'll be choosing something else for sure.

  • Still has the same crummy head setup. Hopefully the electronics are better. The Exceed Blue Ray is a lot better. Spend a little more money and get a T-Rex or HDX. T-Rex parts are available at most any hobbyshop, Exceed & Walkera are not. T-Rex or HDX are more stable. T-Rex has better resale.

  • Who cares about the parts.....this a low budget VERY nice beginers heli.

Try this befor you start with a Trex.

    Those are expensive with parts.

  • Walkera has proven to me time and again they are in the biz to sell PARTS after constant crashes. LOW quality and this flight video is in slow-mo besides so you can't see all the shaking going on! AVOID!

  • ah ok. cool. thanks upon my purchase ill send a video of the shop and the copter that ill buy.. thanks thanks again... cheers!

  • Very nice shots in this video. But the action scene should include some fast forward flight and inverted flying like you did for the Genesis 450-PE ad.

  • Yup, we intended to have amazing shots of it flying, but our 3D pilot was out of town during the shooting of the video

  • i already bought the realflight rc simulator 1 month ago. maybe im ready now for the real thing but which one?

  • Start with the 4ch first before moving on to 6ch 3D. The blazing star is a great one for beginners to intermediates.

  • waht are the best brands in rc helicopters? we have some very nice shops here in dubai and im palnning to buy on this payday. i bought a month ago a futaba rc simulator because the sales man was so nice to tell me i should start practising on simulator before i buy. but now im ready but which brand?

  • get an rc simulator first, learn to fly it b4 you start with something like this .... while I'm doing it that way, it is NOT as easy as it looks!

  • =O wow

  • VERY COOL, I just bought my first helicopter from you today actually... I hope to move on to bigger and better copters soon like this one.
