I feel honored to have seen this performed live in 2004. Regina got onstage with Julian and it was a complete mess. They couldn't remember the lyrics and ended up falling down and rolling around onstage all over each other. BEST SHOW EVER.

I know that Regina and Julian wrote the lyrics separately as in you can listen to their parts separately and have different pov as opposed to just harmonizing, they even made a big deal about it when the songwriting credit went all to julian.
