Ok my thought 26"-29" = 3 inch difference..1 1/2" on top bottom and sides bigger. I think its a mental game, you think there better so you ride better.With this said ,if ya like it enjoy.I know millions will be made just on the hype of it being better. I say larger rims bend easier and even develop hopps from bendong outta round..But again its jmo
man cant go wrong with the specialized stumpjumper 29er's or any 29er if your the right hight. i got one last year and it made the biggest change to how i ride and every thing i had problems with on the 26 inch is gone on the 29er big difference like goign over rock sections u never get hung up going slow like 26er's do and u coast faster and get alot more traction. going up hills u cant beat em because every petal u move alot more and its alot easier. if your 6ft or over i recommend a 29er
