hahah, unboxing a computer on a car, that's funny, but it was a good unboxing, i have the same macbook, but i want the 2.4 GHZ model, I mean I'm ok with the 2.0GHZ version, but it seems that 2.4GHZ version is muhc better that the 2.0 one.

i got my self the Macbook Pro the other day and is the best thing ever

i added the 500GB HD and had to install the OS and the programs then do the migration that went almost perfect for the exception of a few minor things

well welcome to mac dude i did the same thing a year ago since i lost my data twice with windows i got tire of it so i change and i'll never change back i can even use windows here for games if i want

I really wanted this computer but after I saw my brother get a bluray HP with 4G for under $700 and I really need Firewire I think I'm getting the same thing he got, and he says he hasn't had any problems with his Vista machine. Besides I already have a cool iMac. But maybe I'll wait for Snow Leopard, congrats on your purchase!

I wish I waited a couple of months to buy this one but then again it is a lot more expensive and you don't even get a firewire port... So if I bought a new macbook I would have to buy the macbook pro which I couldn't afford... So then I would of missed out... So I'm sort of glad that that I did buy this one... but the one you got looks so sexy!

lovelaz - I had arrangements to make that day so mom drove me to the Apple store, I bought the Mac (paid fuckin cash!) and then we drove off. I managed to wait until we pulled over at a turn-off, then we filmed the unboxing in the car. I brought the digital camera in the car because I'd already wanted to make the unboxing vid.

I saw it at Best Buy the other day. It's really good looking and the track pad is great. The thing is, I just don't need a laptop. I love desktop computers much more, bigger monitors, better keyboard, better specs for cheaper prices. But that's just because I don't need a computer on the go, if I need computer functionality, I use my iPhone 3G. :D

That's why I bought a 20" iMac a couple months ago. I must say that Mac OSX Leopard is amazing. I love it and I'm glad you are using it too. Congrats

Because they base the sales tax on where you order it to, so I would have ended up paying the same, plus shipping if I didn't go with the basic free ground shipping which would take about a week. It would have made no sense.
