My dad died Oct,8th From Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 47... he had written on his wall in July when he first got diagnosed "Dedicated to my little girl" and posted this video... I am just seeing it now, and im bawling. My dad was my best friend, and the most amazing person you will ever meet in your life. I wish i could have traded him places he deserved so much happiness. I am the luckiest person to have had him in my life for 20 years.

THIS song and 'cleaning his gun' make me cry harsh. I have a bad relationship with my dad and I wish I had a dad that felt the way I know a father should. I wish I had things that my girlfriends complain about. Any dad out there who cares enough to interigate any boy that comes close to their teenage girl: just know that even if she says she hates you for it, it truly makes her love you more. A father is supposed to protect his children expecially his daughters.

This song is absolutely amazing. To be able to be a part of your daughter's life is a treasure. I shared this with my husband on his facebook account. He doesn't get that opportunity to share his life with his daughter. His ex-wife turned the kid's away from him, except the oldest which is a lot like dad. He's a boy. But his daughter. It tears at his heart the time he can't have. They use to be real close. Till his daughter was taken away from him. I know this song will touch his heart. Thanx

when i was only four i lost my dad to a very bad accedent . my dad was dead it was horriable they would not let me say good bye 2 him. the doctor said 2 pull the pulgs on him & not give him a chance to live or even breath on his own he was in a comma I DIDNT EVEN GET TO SAY GOODBYE i miss him very much and when i herd this song i cryed for hours cause it touched my heart so much i wish i could see him one last time <3

I have always liked this song, and it hit me harder when we found out a couple of weeks ago that we are expecting a girl in just over a week. I think that this song will probably be the song that plays when i hold her for the first time. The take with the tractor makes me look at the piture on the wall,where my daughter sits together with her brother in the tractor and they are waiting for me to fix that old thing........about 14 years ago.
