You people figured out that SGU is gonna suck just by watching a trailer of 30 seconds?For frell's sake, you can't possibly know that! I know people tend to be picky when it comes to the release of a new show, especially when the former ones were so great. I myself was skeptic about SGA, but it turned out to be just as great, so stop complaining about SGU when you haven't even seen one, ONE episode yet!

I read the premise of this show in the Sci-Fi Channel website. It sounds like Battlestar Galactica, except it's only one ship and one Stargate. SG-A was really getting good and now THIS! WTH?!?!

Let me guess... everyone on this ship has a Mood Disorder (like BG) and every season the bad guys become good and good become bad (Heroes).

I'm not going to waste my time on this piece of crap. SG-1 and SGA were excellent shows. Why folks? Why?

because you can totally judge a show after watching a 30 second clip of it. I agree it doesnt look phenomenal but we'll just have to wait and see :)

People should understand that trailers aren't everything, and they have a tendency to be misleading.

The best way to go about is to watch the first episode, if you don't feel it, then stop watching.

THERE ARE ALREADY A LOT OF ADVANCE KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNOLOGIES THAT THE HUMANS HAVE that we got from ga'ualds, tokrah. asgards, ancients,and other allies...... why couldnt just som1 locate them through the ship beacons and teleport them.....earth ships can go to hyperspace.... AND JUST A QUESTION WHY COULD JUST THE MAKE A ZPMs former series in SGA have the ancients database, SG1 encountered a machine that can build ancients devices, daniel jackson have done it why can they make a lot of ZPMs....

Its interesting i was thinking of the same thing why didnt they put Rodney in this new season of SG-U and for what its worth still think that probably this new season will probably stink but probably not and i am still waiting for the movie of stargate atlantis to come out they said its coming early 2009 and i am still waiting all these waiting is driving me NUTS.

Probably they will give it before the new season comes out.

All these waiting is driving me crazy hope it comes out very soon!!!!!!

From what I understand there will be humor in the series, but it has to be believable to start with if you can have such a thing on a science fiction show? The characters will find their niches, and then you'll start to see the wonderful show we've come to expect from the producers of SG. I'm entering this with an air of optimism until they can prove me wrong.

I think its the time i would get over with stargate episodes.... stargate universe just lost its most vital essence that is going to planets saving lives to people to other worlds in constant battle with the bad guys in the universe... a ship with stargate.... ? wud it not solve its problem if they gate to a near planet and go back to earth? if they could not stop disable the engines if they are in hyperspace disable the hyperdrives..... whts good bwt SGU?

COntrol commands like the chayenne mountain the main stargate operations and the atlantis city of the alteran ancients..... i really think STARGATE UNIVERSE lost its TRACKS on the stargate series..... i am a devoted fan OF SG1 and SGA, SG1 and SGA are the best thought I THINK THEY NEED TO PRODUCE A MOVIE ENDING FOR TH SGA, PERHAPS THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WRAITH SPECIES THE PEGASUS GALAXY....OR MAY BE THE ORI BECOME ALLIES WITH THE HUMANS AGAINST THE WRIATH......

Your right but last year when the announcement came that STA was being canceled i read that they are making a movie of stargate atlantis final ending when the wraith was being defeated and so that what i read.

I sure hope the movie comes out soon

hey im from the uk and i love all the stargates so far from the first movie but the last too werent all that to be honest, atlantis is wicked they should of kept going with it and alot of the endings for stargate are not all that but its been ok, well for SGU this is kind of like galactica but remeber the ship they get one cant turn around it just keep on moving forwards so could be intersting and im looking forward to it
