  • Joe Bataan wasn't even Latino he's black n Filipino doin Latin music.

  • Miren cabeones corridos rifan

  • And we will never have our place in Hip Hop till we can do what they do, while being completely true to ourselves and our own, ie.... NOT trying to be like them. Like Browns making Black music.. Goin hyphy, using the N word, etc...

  • Your title is wrong. Latinos have been in Hip Hop since day 1. Watch 'Pass The Mic - History Of Latinos In Hip Hop', do you research homie. Give it up from Cypress but they where not the 1st and definitely not the 'founders'. Latinos where creators of Hip Hop along with Blacks. Almost every B-Boy in the beginning was Latino and probably half the emcees as well. Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, etc.. Even Mexicanos & Chicanos.

  • @santotzin

    You do your research homie,

some of the very first Latinos in Hip Hop kept their Latino heritage a secret for fear of it holding them back.

  • @WiseUp89 You're an idiot. Look up Joe Bataan 'Rap O Clap O' and kill yourself to it. I know my history and hip hop. And what does it matter if some(if any) kept it secret? Does it mean that they where NOT Latino? No. So what was your point again? Oh, that I'm right.. Thanks.

  • @santotzin

What the fuck are you rambling about, dumbass?

My point is that although blacks are narrowly credited with the formation of hip-hop, Latinos have been involved in the scene since its conception without being rightfully credited. Eat a dick, motherfucker.

    Don't reply

  • @WiseUp89 Actually, that was not your point. You had no point. You told me to do my research while claiming that Latino's where secretive about their culture. Which was not at all an argument or agreement with anything that I had stated.... So why was it even addressed to me? So you could feel like you schoolin me? Not happening. "So what was your point again? Oh, that I'm right.. Thanks."

  • Tony G is right,

Record companies have held Latinos back far too long

there is a lot of prejudice when you're not black and you try to rap

  • @WiseUp89 melow and sen are black

  • @easydbk

they're not the "latinos" I am referring to

  • @WiseUp89 my bad...btw im not latino, im mediterranean but i love hip hop and i love latino rap because they represent they own culture, so thats real, but today you got lot of fake emcees ( black latino white asian ) just copying black rap, so keep doin it your own style no matter where you from represent your kultura...BRAVO ...RESPECT from dubrovnik ragusa
