  • first of all, theres a statute of limitations, so even if tressel was cheating, which all reports show he wasnt, and that many of te allegations against him were false or at the least thrown out due to lack of evidence (except the tattoo tjing obviously), they couldnt strip osu.

and if you think that wasnt pass interference you clearly dont know shit about football, so your opinion really doesnt matter

  • the shoe was so loud

  • I wonder how many free tattoos gamble agreed to to play for ohio state

  • @chopseh USC was stripped of their 2005 national title,n there are news clips, saying that,OSU might be stripped of their 2002 National Title also because the word is that jim tressel really has been doing something illegal, since he was hired at OSU,Miami really won the title in '02 anyway 24-17 1 OT,and everybody knows that

  • @lilpaniagua07 You are simply stupid for saying that. It's not possible or plausible to go back ten years and take away a national title. Do some research dumbass. Sorry Ohio State makes your University look like a side alley whore.

  • @lilpaniagua07 Right.. this kids probably some U fan that dosent go to school cause hes to fucking stupid to pass 2nd grade.. it really shows

  • I'm a Florida Gator fan born and raised and trust me when I say this--I would have LOVED to be in a sea of scarlet and gray after a play like that!

  • straight up sick

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BUCKEYES GOD BLESS OHIO

  • Michigan and PSU suck

  • @goodygoody23 laaaaaaaaaa

  • Gtta love Musberger.

  • back when the shoe was always loud

  • this was on my 21st birthday, i was shitfaced at dave and busters. epic play, epic year. go bucks.

  • Chris Gamble is a no good, Charles Woodson wannabe.

  • @MWolverine9 Lick a dick trick...

  • @DeLiiCaTe89 hey thats what he was

  • Holy Buckeye!

  • P.S. Usuck.

  • go panthers

  • That's still the loudest I've ever heard the 'Shoe.

  • charles woodson is a pushover compared to gamble.....what are you talking about!!!

  • I was at this game in the south stands. When Chris came zigzagging down in front of us toward the endzone you would have thought the stands were going to collapse. I remember that moment. My ears were ringing after that game. I still get chills when I see this highlight. Just one in many of our magical season that year in 2002.

  • Zak Mills was one of the better PSU QBs in recent history - but one of the best of all time? I'd certainly hope not - that's kinda sad if that's the case.

  • idk about charles woodson but hes good

  • Hes the Panthers Best Corner

  • mussburger is an ass

  • Saying Mills didn't have adequate time in the pocket is one thing.. Making an argument for him being one of PSU's all time best, thats ignorant. Compared to some of his predecessors (Seneca, Thompson, & Casey) he stands out.. But NOT all time.

  • Great return.. But picking off Zack Mills isn't anything to be too exicted about, haha..

(As a four year starter, he was 0-1.. thats right 0-1 in bowl games)

  • BlitzinLB, you don't know what you're talking about. Mills was arguably the best QB PSU ever had. He never had any targets to throw the ball too and had several of his targets throughout his years as QB just quit or get kicked off the team. Mills was one of the best players PSU had in its history. That was a very ignorant statement.

  • Im a Buckeye fan and Mills was a bum no way he was one of the best psu qb of a time. Collins was better Clark is better Mills isnt even in the same league as Krenzel

  • oooooooo he has fancy feet

  • I love that clip.

  • Brent Musberger, why would you ever make a reference to any Michigan player, let alone a heisman winning Michigan player...and one who destroyed Ohio State to win his trophy...at Ohio Stadium...in the National Championship season.

  • Zack Mills was all or nothing against the Buckeyes. Either he was great or he was awful, no in-between. In this case he was just in the way of destiny. It was just meant to be for the Bucks in 2002.

  • Ugh...Zack Mills. I loved his heart and desire, but he made some awful decisions down the stretch in several big games.

Big ups to the Buckeyes for pulling this one out, though...it was a great, great Ohio State team.

  • Mills had no choice most of the time. He had to play perfect every game. Does anyone remember how bad the O_Line ws back then? They commend Joe Paterno for modernizing and everything? The reason why he put the option in, went shotgun, etc. was to save Mills's ass from being on the ground so much. Mills' career was ended because of the O-Line. He had to have been hit every single play (more like 80%) in his career.

  • This play symbolizes all about that '02 OSU team. Defensive touchdown, and Brent Musberger with the call. Oh, those were the days.

  • Charles Woodson should feel insulted for Chris Gamble being compared to him.

  • I love how you watch buckeyes highlights... wait... a highlight that your team isn't even in!!! haha! your so jealous of how shitty your team has been the last decade you gotta watch highlights of teams that are actually good just so you can remember what it is

  • Chris Gamble, the wannabe Charles Woodson but was never close to as good as Chuck, did Gamble ever win a heisman trophy? nope dont think so, Chris Gamble = Wannabe Chuck Woodson

  • Heisman, schmeisman....

The real stat is here -

Chris Gamble - 1 National Championship

Charles Woodson - one-half of a National Championship, shared with Nebraska.

    Game over, Woodson loses.

  • Sure he loses when you are comparing teams, even though I thought Michigan got screwed, thanks phil fulmer. Anyway when you compare the player Woodson is much better, and did anyone see Gamble get trucked by Ahmad Bradshaw?

  • u can't say that, u can't compare individual players by using championships because a championship is a TEAM accomplishment. That's like saying Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino.

Bottom line Charles Woodson was better in college than Chris Gamble and he's better than Gamble is now. But Gamble is still a very good player

  • Look up how many plays Chris Gamble played in the 2002 National Championship against then a juggernaut Miami team who had won 31 in a row and with big names in the Pro's such as Jonathan Vilma, Sean Taylor, Kellen Winslow. He played all but like 10 plays the entire game.. Will and Heart are often better than Talent and Arrogance.

  • @marcrib79 that may be true that winning championships is a team accomplishment but it's also considered the ultimate personal accomplishment as well. It matters on a hall of fame resume. Numbers don't settle all debates

  • but in this debate the numbers do settle it... Chris Gamble and Charles have both won Championships in college and neither has won a super bowl... If u go by just watching them then it's a done deal that Woodson is the FAR superior player

  • @marcrib79 ok true plus woodson has the heisman to back up his college resume but you was saying making a trent dilfer/marino comparision. Nfl championships are different then college cuz pros have they whole 10+ year career to get a ring while in college most players have less then 4 years to get it done. More of a team game in NCAA and using that ring arguement as a way of saying someone is better is easier in college cuz it's harder to get

  • I was using that Dilfer/Marino thing as an example... anyone who actually believes that Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino knows little to nothing about the game

  • @marcrib79 i've been agreeing with you the whole time, just i don't think you should be comparing college to pros cuz it's Sooo different... why you think some players make the HOF in college but not the pros or vice versa. but when you compare pro to pro (montana/marino) it's easy to hate on marinos number vs montana, stahbach, bradshaw, elway or brady etc cuz they got multiple rings.

  • I realize that but I just believe that you can't say someone is better just because they happened to be on a better team during their career. Some of the greatest players of all time never even get a chance to win a championship and it's not their fault nor is it fair for people to criticize them because they never won

  • @marcrib79 well, like a great herm edwards said... "you play to win the game, HELLO, you don't just play to play." When you don't win championships then your not in anyones discussion of greatest players. a week 17 win is far less important then a super bowl win so why should we not give props to them . winning a champioship is a big deal... only one team accomplishes that per year so it is rare to happen therfore it's fair to rate players career by it.

  • I don't think so, a team has to win it all... if a great player isn't surrounded with other players to compliment their talents then how can they be ridiculed for not winning a championship

  • @marcrib79 you don't get it do you... you take away or debate a championship from player. He has that forever no matter what happens in his career but when you don't win one it leaves a lot of questions and doubts about how good he really was. All the great ones win championships and that's a fact. Stop feeling sorry for the marinos, barkleys and bonds of the world.

  • I don't feel bad for them because they were some of the best ever and obviously the HOF voters agree with me... I'm just saying that anybody can be put in the right situation at the right time. I like Robert Horry and I think he was a decent player but I won't say he was better than Karl Malone or Charles Barkley just because he as 7 and they have a combined 0... plus they had to deal with Jordan who happened to be playing baseball when Horry won his first 2 rings...

  • Hey idiot my nigga Gamble made more big plays than Woodson made. He single handedly had 3 game saving int. and this pick 6 to win the game all in one season.

  • that was an awesome game. it was crazy loud and i've been to a lot of games there. by far the craziest and loudest.

  • absolutely a fucking HUGE pick. it turned the game around and also kept the national championship hope alive. what a year.

  • I couldnt hear my buddy sittting next to me that day. I've been to alot of football games at the Shoe but that was by far the loudest I have ever heard it.

  • Same here. I was 4 rows from the field at this game near the flag pole and I couldn't hear a DAMN THING the entire game.

It was awesome. The Shoe is never like that anymore....

  • I was at that game. The shoe was shaking in the upper section when Gamble took it for a pick 6. What a year !

  • loud was an understatement, it was deafening

  • LOUD AS HELL THAT DAY IN THE HORSESHOE

    what a game what season

  • Can someone please remind me of something. Who went 3-9 last season? It sure as hell wasn't Ohio State. So really, who sucks?? lol

  • OSU beat Michigan 42-7, so if OSU sucks, then how bad is Michigan?

  • LOL! owned

  • Ohio State sucks? LOL. When is the last time UM beat Ohio State? You'd have to go all the way back to 2003. Five years in a row now we've beaten you guys. It'll be 6 years this year when we embarrass you again!!

  • The Bucks will never die! As for Michigan...

  • i get chills everytime i c this

    O-H

  • I-O!!

  • great play

  • we always seem to get a game winning pick 6 against the Nittany Lions, except this year

  • Benny, the last two times we had pick sixes, we were already ahead...aka they weren't winning ones..

  • boy, we needed a chris gamble last week :(

    O-H!

  • I was there. Amazing.

  • If you weren't in the Horseshoe to witness this play, then you've never experienced noise like I have. If you can find a play that generated more crowd noise than that, I want to know about it.

  • A memorable play by Chris Gamble during his days with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Hey, Chris, as a member of the Panther Nation, I just want to wish you all the best of luck Sunday at San Diego.

  • Chris Gamble= one of the best dual position players to play for OSU.

  • 2002 defense count the nfl players: Will Smith, Darrian Scott, Tim Anderson, Kenny Peterson, Simon Fraser; Matt Wilheim, Robert Reynolds, Chris Gamble; Will Allen; A.J. Hawk, Bobby Carpenter; Donnie Nickey; Mike Doss; I know a few of the guys have been cut recently but all of them stayed on a nfl roster for at least two years.

  • my all time favorite buckeye player

  • lol wow that was my first time seeing that. that is me a 0.31 #72 getting juked

  • 2011...i'll be good. i can't wait for that game.

  • I hope I get to see a game this loud in the shoe before i graduate..

  • Do you graduate before 2009? cuz the game vs. USC in the shoe in 2 years will be nuts

  • as a michigan fan, even i'm looking forward to that one. beat the trojans, PLEASE

  • This was INDEED the loudest the 'Shoe has ever been. Sat in Block O for this game, and this video does not do the explosive cheer for this play justice.

  • happy to say this was the first buckeye game i ever went to. my dad and my uncle were actually on the sideline for this game (my uncle works for a newspaper in columbus) and he said it was the loudest game he has ever been to. the toss gamble throws at the end of the play actually landed on my uncles feet. anyone who dosent believe me, ive got pictures. the criminal also had a run in this game where he busted his arm up, the crowd got pretty loud, anyone see that video on youtube at all? O-H!

  • probably the best play i've seen in person at the Shoe. definitely loud as well, although i thought the loudest game i've been to was vs. PUR in '03. sat in A deck, the closed end. seemed like crowd forced them to throw a pick/fumble six for mike kudla.

  • chris gamble is a fuckin animlal

    lol

    that kinda rhymed

    hes still tha man

  • Word is this was the loudest teh Horse Show has ever been.

  • I've been to many games over the years and yes, in my opinion the 2002 Penn State game was the loudest that I've ever heard The Horseshoe.

  • Yeah, this is right up there. The 2005 Texas game was probably just as loud...surprisingly enough, the 2006 Michigan game wasn't quite this loud.

  • you're not desperate when there's 13 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, this is just pure passion, maybe if there was 2 minutes left in the game then yeah you're desperate

  • As a m*ch*gan fan, you know all about only putting up 3 points, don't you..?

  • for the record, it was seven

  • U know all about putting up 3 wins dont you.

  • Yeah, but I know a hell of a lot more about college football than you do.

    We'll be back.

  • You guys just lost your top recruit cuz he thinks ur school sucks and wants to leave it, you guys suck 3-9 is horrible and it'll take a miracle to beat us.

  • lol nothing in Mich-OSU is a miracle, it's a rivalry

  • It's not looking like much of a rivalry anymore tho, just a last game of the year ass whooping.

  • things will change :) they always do. both teams will probably have several streaks during your lifetime, but you probably don't remember ours.

  • Chris gamble is the truth.

  • who ever wears number 7 next better be good as hell.

  • Antonio Henton currently wears #7

  • "Chris Gamble, touchdown on the interception. Hello Charles Woodson. Now get me the ball on offense." I neither hated or liked Musberger before 2002. During that season, he became my favorite play-by-play guy. Musberger had so many great calls that year. I don't understand why some Buckeye fans hate him so much. Too bad he got moved from the national championship game to an AFC wild card game in 2002.

  • Go Bucks. Thanks for the highlight. Can't wait for the season to start. I live in FL and its been a rough year. Gator fans are still mouthing off down here.

  • Malcom Jenkins is a beast that nobody knows about. He has 1st rounder written all over him. I can't wait to see him play this year

  • Malcom Jenkins had one like this this year except this one was alot bigger.
