I'm not surprised your favorite moment is with the great Madeline Kahn... One of my favorite moments is with her too, just before Wadsworth reveals that each one of them is being blackmailed:
Wadsworth: Your first husband also disappeared.
Mrs. White: That was his job. He was an illusionist.
Wadsworth: But he never reappeared!
Mrs. White: Ah! He wasn't a very good illusionist.
2 comments, 1 don't make the titles so long, & 2 you either entered into some clips to early or late, same as ending them, you need what leads into the joke on some of them, because just a punchline on it's own isn't funny. it's like telling ONLY the ending of the funniest joke you can think of to someone. they won't laugh at it because there was part missing, same if you only tell the beginning. maybe try & work on that in the future. sure most of the bits were funny, but better in context
It was a good list but I would have included the scene where Mr. Green found out that they ate monkey brains and the one where Wadsworth, Mrs. White, Mr. Green and Yvette collided.
Obviously #1 really was the best but I would have included a few different scenes. For instance when Miss Scarlett says "True! Who are you, Perry Mason?" or when Wadsworth says "I answered the door and it was Mrs. White looking pale and tragic" or the scene with the Jehovah's Witness. Those are among my favorites as well but good clips in this video nonetheless.
i totally thought wadsworth getting hit with the candle stick was going to be number one. i also would have put when all the men volunteered to go with evette and mr.green said no thank you lol
How could a movie be so campy and so subtle at the same time? I only now saw Mr Green dancing during "She's A Jolly Good Fellow" and Col Mustard glancing at Mrs White like WTF?! when she started singing the descant. lol.
Also as mentioned, the Butler imitating Mr Green's mannerisms while slapping Mrs. Peacock! Thanks for the list! :)
It's missing one of my favorite scenes, where Wadsworth is doing the recap in the billard room and goes "But one of us wasn't here. Nyet." And then everyone goes "Nyet?" and He says "Nyet" again all silly.
One of my fav parts isn't in here. But it's when green and Yvette want to go up the stairs and green says "ladies first im sure its nothing up there". and Yvette is like "then u go" and green is all nonchalant like "...alright" and the stay put for like 10 seconds. Omg I couldnt stop laughing lmaoooo!
My favorite was all with Wadsworth, Mr. Green, Yvette and Mrs. White tearing around the landing into a four way colllision. Now if you'll excurse me, I think I'll go pull my CLUE DVD off the shelf and watch it again.
I was a little suprised when it came to #2 and my favourite moment hadn't been shown, but I guess thats what the #1 spot was for :) I cried with laughter the first time I saw that scene!
I liked the whole movie! The part where Mrs. Peacock was beating the furnace pipe yelling "Don't you touch me!" Ms. Scarlet screaming when the cook was discovered followed by "Who would kill the cook?" "Dinner wasn't that bad."
The top 1 moment should be... THE WHOLE MOVIE!!!! I have it at home and it's one of my favorite movie ever! Even if I watched it like 50 times or more, I still laugh everytime I watch it!!!
The entire writing staff of this movie needs to be brought back together and form their own company because this is just GOLD. You don't find GOOD comedy like this anymore, folks.
I was looking for the singing telegram part, to send it to a friend, while watching the movie. Then stumbled on this video. You can imagine my surprise when both the paused movie & this video showed the hawt french maid on the golf table :O
could anyone tell, right at 5:01-5:02, the "dead" mr. body look like he swallows? idk what happened but it looks like, just for an instant, his throat moves up and down...
I thought the funniest part was when Mr. Green kept walking around the room but couldn't get a seat bc everyone kept taking them, so finally he sat down on a small table which collapsed a few moments later :)
This movie is pure genius, I don't care what anybody says. The acting was superb, due in most to the line deliverance, and the subtle background acting that was always going on. For a long time I would watch this movie and pickup subtle ironies and such that I had never noticed before, even in some of the actors expressions. They couldn't have assembled a better cast to play each and every role. I wish a movie like this would come out now, but I doubt that as its coup de grâce was: IT'S CLUE
"Let's put her in the study with the others" (simultaneously dropping the singing telegram's body on the floor) ... and dropping the cook at the study's entrance should be here too. LOL
@boy29girl no. Actually I work at McDonalds. I just get that part stuck in my head all the time, because that was the one part that I remember from the movie.
Two of my favorites were mrs peacock reacting to the "poison" and when they are searching the house and she backs into a water heater thinking it's someone and says "don't you touch me!"
"Yes, but remember what happened next. Mrs Peacock took a drink, you said,'Mabye its poisoned!' she screams!" [Screams funny] "Took her to the sofa!" [Still screaming with Mrs Peacock in toe] "MR GREEN!" [Slaps her] " 'Well, I had to stop her screaming.' "
I think you cut the clips a bit too soon on a lot of them which kind of made it seem stuttered. Decent list otherwise, but the pink kind of throws off the tone of the movie.
"Get on with it" is actually a reference to the scene from Monty Python's Life of Brian when the woman who claimed Brian was the devil wouldn't shut up. It's minute, but it's there.
The gag where they are counting the bullets is good, but it gets 10 times funnier when the shot actually goes off and the butler starts calmly trying to count the shots again
What about the part where they all were "comparing straws" to see who had matching straws so they could go out and search the house in pairs? i thought that part was funny.

#25 should be 3: no dialog, involves all 7 actors, great camera angle, just priceless.

Finally, your 4 and 5 make no sense, dont even belong on the list.
