@Mk97709 This is true. "Bill Cosby: Himself" came out in 1983 a year before "The Cosby Show", but many of the scenes from the show developed from things that happened in his real life. It was like a sketch-comedy version of his stand up comedy.

i grew up on this, 10 years old and it was 1984, i remember when NBC was promoting it that Summer...there will never be another show like it...ever.

i can watch this everyday and enjoy sharing the memories w/my daughter...even further back, we had Fat Albert...he always implements love, positivity and diversity in his work.
