  • I watched this when I was like 3 XD

  • Pooh is voiced by the original Whit...the same guy who voiced Owl in the original cartoons!

  • I used to watch this, now its just downright creepy.

  • I want my childhood back :(

  • @ajohnst2 Me too.

  • (sigh) I used to watch this ALL the time as a child. I really loved it. Now, seeing the beginning again, after almost 20 years, it's as if no time has passed....how is that? Back then, TV shows could make you feel safe, happy, and comforted; at least they did me. :) I miss being a child. I guess I am just feeling nostalgic.

  • @triciaeveringham

No, it's not just nostalgia. Instead of "safe, happy, and comforted", the focus of kids' shows now is "cool"

  • Wait a minute... Pooh says, "Wel-wel-wel welcome"? For years, I'd thought it was "Row Row Row Welcome", where "row" was pronounced like an argument. This changes... well, not much, but there's SOME change.

  • I miss show's like this. I'd put this show u against the crap on tv today.

  • used to watch this with my little brother while at the babysitter. i want my kids to watch the good wholesome stuff we used to have!

  • The rabbit is busy smoking weed

  • Man I feel old.I remember this show

  • tiger... you are one lazy niger :D

  • And I thought The Book of Pooh was great...

  • For the love of god Pooh! Put some pants on!! Jeeze Louise this is a kids show!

  • Why do Pooh and Piglet sound different?

  • What exactly is a "hoopty-pooh time?"

  • fuck this really makes me wanna be a child again :-(

  • I'm 27, and I still remember watching this as a kid. Back when the only thing that worried me was whether there was still cereal left

  • i remember this show it was the best show ever i really miss it

  • Who could possibly dislike this?! Oh yeah, they're either really old or in jr. high right now.

  • @boingokky: Ummm...this show was for those of us in the 80s/90s & we're grown-ups now, but some of us are more young-at-heart than others.

  • I started cracking up once I saw the "You Need A Friend" :P

  • all stuffed with fluffies! :]

  • I remember watching this show all the time as a child.....back when the Disney Channel was worth watching.

  • I remember first seeing this when I was on holiday in Disney World in Florida!

We used to watch it in our hotel room before we went out to the parks! It really got you in that Disney Mood! Good times = D

  • Accidental Nightmare Fuel

  • Awww this big back my innocents days of a child

  • This brought me chills. I watched this show repeatedly as a kid. I loved this show. Some of the songs are still in my head.

  • ouo I kinda find this a little creepy...but not as much as the Shirley Temple WInnie the Pooh.....and I was a Book Of Pooh/New Adventures generation ouo

  • damn I'm old. I remember watching this 20 years ago. Back in the day when the only problem I had was in deciding what cereal to eat.

  • first winnie the pooh! :D

  • You guys remember the actor who played the 'old' Christopher Robbins in this show??

  • Comment removed

  • OMG! I never saw this. My gengeration was the New Adentures of Winnie the Pooh.

  • @The1JAYJAY me 2!!! i wish i had seen them, i love Winnie the pooh!

  • What a What a What a mess......Disney's turned out to be. This was one of my favorite shows as a kid now Disney Channel has turned to crap. This needs to be put on dvd so future kids can actually learn about stuff.

  • This needs to be on DVD. This needs to be in my life.

  • why isnt this on dvd yet??

  • @zymmyiscool

I don't know either. it should be :(

  • I was very young when they were showing this in reruns. Gave me nightmares.

  • This song popped into my head just tonight and I could not remember where it was from. I just put in Winnie The Pooh Disney Channel and saw Welcome to Pooh Corner. As soon as I clicked the link, the memories came flooding back.

  • ...

    Ok.

I can't decide if this is awwwwwwwwwwwww or oh god no, or both.

  • Nostalgia's all well and good...BUT THAT"S CREEPY! I remember the other Pooh Bear puppet show, The Book of Pooh, and that one was OK, but this? This. Is. Scary.

  • ah. the memories, this I remember fondly, it was one of those shows your parents put on because it distracted you and you learned something. unfortunately it was another one of those shows I didn't get to see often when it aired but my parents had recordings of it and enjoyed every minute. though the song feels a bit nursery rhymish now you cannot argue it was one that would draw you in, everyone sounded friendly and the animatronics and costumes didnot look scary to the kids.

  • wow i'm 15 and i really want to watch these, it already looks better than every disney channel show playing right now

  • omg i remember this show this makes me feel a lil old lmao bring back the shows like this

  • *sniff* Why couldn't they still air such shows?! This is too old to even have been on when I was little, but when the old stuff is so much better than the new junk that keeps getting churned out for some reason...I'd gladly watch this instead, any day.

  • totally remember this! good times!

  • This show is creepy. Its good that creepy puppet shows ended and the genre will never return.

  • hey the guy singing about owl sounds like gordon from sesame street

  • *sniff* I watched this, Under The Umbrella Tree, Dumbo's Circus and Eureka's Castle (on Nickelodeon) and COUNTLESS other GOOD show's. Where'd they go... : (

  • @moznico Hopefully time Machines will come out soon so we can go back in time.

  • @bluestingerborg yep someday, someday...

  • @moznico Disney needs to bring all those old shows back and get rid of all that Junk they have today

  • God, I remember watching this in the morning before I went to school! I REALLY miss the old classics, and just the old Disney Channel in general. It also makes me sad that kids nowadays are missing out on such classic Disney-ana like this!

  • Fellow child of the 80's here. These truely were the days, and Disney Channel's best era. Such fond childhood memories that will always stay with me.

  • Loved this when I was kid

  • That sounds nothing like Piglet.

  • Must claws eyes out! I hated this show even more then Dumbo' Circus. BTW, doesn't Pooh look kinda evil?

  • I KNEW I remembered this as a child but this the first time I found it agaiN!!

  • Like myself as well I'm 24 going to be 25 in July and I still love this show it brings back way to meny memories and hope to the kids today will just love it too even

if it's an old Disney show

  • Yup I am 25 yrs old too.. this was he best! :)

  • I wonder exactly what a 'hoopty-poo time' is.

  • Eeyore- Manic Depressive, Owl- B.S.er, Rabbit- Arrogant @ss, Roo- Patience disorder, Piglet- Anal Retentive, Pooh- Uh...bear not wearing pants and probably A.D.D.!...Welcome to Pooh Corner!

  • @spindalis79 no no, Eeyore- Depressed, OWl- Narcissist, Piglet- Generalized anxiety disorder, Pooh eating disorder, Tiger ADD, Rabbit obsessive compulsive disorder, Christopher Robin is Schizophrenic.

  • Supposed to be a cartoon!?!? Wow! Some of my fondest memories as a child are of this show. No hidden messages, no agendas, no politics, just clean wholesome learning. I guess in the world where 12 year old actors engage in adult actions and are not scorned I shouldn't be suprised by the comments. Please take me to the Hundred acre wood and let me get lost.

  • awesome show

  • Disney premiered April 18, 1983. I had turn 12 the day b-4.What memories. Disney needs to get back to its roots.

  • I'm 24 and my brother and I used to watch this show before school. My mom and I still say TTFN..ta-ta for now

  • wow talk about flash back!

  • I'm 23 and I lived for this show every morning on Disney. I have argued with friends who didn't believe that it existed. My favorite childhood show and the start of my obsession with Eeyore. Always loosing his tail.

  • Winnie-the-Pooh is supposed to be a cartoon. This live action monstrosity is wrong and it makes me angry. >:-|

  • @lemonrind this show came out BY Disney. The Cartoon TV show came out AFTER this one came out, AND now if you want to be more peeved check out the Disney Channel most of there cartoons are now computer animated INCLUDING WINNIE THE POOH. This show was a classic and loved by a lot of people if you cannot tell.

  • @lemonrind hey, this was such a beloved classic tv show, and, winnie the pooh dosen't have to be all a cartoon, i mean the book of pooh was not a cartoon either

  • is it me or do these costumes look rather creepy?

  • @darthjedidude It's not just you.

  • I am 22, and this show used to start my saturday mornings :)

  • @evannahjoym5888 lol same here. used to like wake up when the sun was starting to rise, but sometimes i'd be soo tired i could've stay up through all the disney channels, i would wake up when mother goose would start and Care Bears.

  • I'm 26 and I loved this show when I was a kid.

  • wow Now thats a catchy song, im 21 and i still remember it by hard. that song will never get old or over played

  • I remember back in 95 or something they showed it on tv n the cartoon version and me n my sis use to watch it when we were younger

  • im 30 and i did too! everymorning dumbos circus, mousercise, and this

  • @myepiphany07 me too!! everymorning with my mom.

  • I remember eating my waffles every morning and watching this show! I hated when the end came cuz i had to go get on the bus for school! ha ha the things we remember

  • this song stuck with me for the rest of my life, even if i didnt watch pooh corner as a kid.

  • I knew I wasn't crazy! I've mentioned this show to people recently, and no one had any clue what I was talking about! Phew, glad to know I didn't imagine this. My Grandmother had one of those giant satellite dishes before we had cable in our area, and I saw this at her house a few times as a very young kid. Ah, good memories. I was totally struck by it.

  • I loved this show as a kid..

    but now..

this Pooh just reminds me of Pedobear...

  • i miss this show & all the other shows too, they need to put them back on disney. fUCK HANNAH MONTANA!!!!!!!

  • @MrFerndogg20 you deserve more than 6 thumbs up!!! disney's attitude has changed ever since walt disney passsed away in 1966!!!!

  • @MrFerndogg20 I agree!! But kids today would be like, "This is so lame, this has no CGI or anything in it!"

  • I wonder why they got rid of Eeyore in the new CGI (ugh) Winnie the Pooh cartoons. Sure, he was kind of depressing, but getting rid of him is like Sesame Street canning Oscar The Grouch (pardon the pun :D): it just isn't the same.

  • I remember watching this as I was waiting for the school bus back in 1st grade (1990-1991). Thanks for posting.

  • This kind of scares me a bit...

  • I hope the reboot Pooh movie in 2011 is as good as it's meant to be! It's hand-drawn!

  • AWWWWW!!! One of my FAVS! Thank you so much for posting this! Brought tears to my eyes. LoL. Disney just isn't the same anymore! :(

  • Wasn't around back far enough to see this, but I LOVE "The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh". Just got one of the original VHS tapes off eBay!

  • Man I miss this show.

  • pooh is the worst ever y did u post such a stupid thing

  • Thanks for putting this up!! I was talking to my bro about this show and he didn't remember...thought I was crazy, but now I have proof! This was a great show.

  • I miss the old Disney channel! Best years of my life. ='(

  • I used to watch this all the time. Still had it on a tape, amirite? Who else still has VCR tapes?! Pwned Dvds.

  • I SO MISS THE OLD DISNEY. I DONT KNOW WHY THEY CHANGED IT. MTV DOESNT GIVE ANY MORE MUSIC JUST REALITY TV SHOWS AND DISNEY DONT GIVE CARTOONS LIKE THAT. JUST HANNAH MONTANA AND THEM OTHER SHOWS WITH REAL PEOPLE. I GUESS THATS WHERE THE MONEY IS AT BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN IT BETTER. THEY'RE SHIT.

  • Somebody put this show, as well as Dumbo's circus and The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, on DVD before I have kids. Please.

I'd much rather have no cable and feed my kids something remotely intelligent on DVD.

  • I loved watching this show when I was a kid...it's sad to see what has become of the Disney channel...it's not the same anymore...

  • Winnie the Pooh is too bad-ass for words.

  • OH MY GOSH I WATCHED THIS WHEN I WAS LITTLE!

  • ummm..... i have to admit but tvfanhun is totly right! almost all the girls (and boys) at my school act stupid just because watching disney shows, of course i watch disney channel like, A LOT! but they don't really teach you a lot of stuff like they did before, even THATS SO RAVEN is totly better then sha hannah butt-tannah!

  • I agree with those saying Disney is crap now. Disney used to be about fun and learning. Now it is about trying to be "cool".

  • My Uncle Orville that is..WHOO often said to me....

  • This makes me wanna cry! :O

I used to watch this EVERY morning while getting ready fer skewl! :D I h8'd skewl. haha

  • I have an episode or two of this im going to upload also a dumbo's circus episode its not the best quality but ill be doing it very soon so let me know what you think if you will watch it or not. I have other things that i will try to upload to so...

  • I was a huge Winnie the Pooh fan (still am) but this show creeped me out A LOT! 0_0

I mean... how can you not get freaked out by those creepy costumes?!

  • Anyone remember an old Disney Channel show called Just You and Me, Kid? I'm beginning to think I imagined it.

  • @SkystheLimit0831 YES I DO!!! You ain't imagined it!!! I've watched it as a kid, I loved it!!!

  • @SkystheLimit0831 I remember it, but all I can remember is some kind of exercising routine or something they would do. lol

  • I did not remember this until just now. I loved watching this show.

  • I'll definitely be buying shows like this when I have kids instead of the crap they put on TV now

  • o my goodness, watch'n this brought a big smile to my face. i remember watch'n this in the morning b4 going to elementary school.

  • What The Fuck IS Wrong With Creators of cartoons these days who gets the idea to make a show with a WHore CAlled Miley cirus and lets make her have Post Distruptive presonality dissorder oh and also while were at it lets use autotune for the whole god damn cast so they can sell records to

  • OMG it made me cry this i miss the old series

  • i want the old nick disney and carttoonnetwork back

  • I always kinda wanted to have that room when I was a kid...

Anyway, I am only 20---born November 89, but I remember these shows from the 90s, Dumbo's Circus, Fraggle Rock, that toy one, Lamb Chops, Wonderland, Under the Umbrella tree. I don't know, but these shows seemed to have been made with more love than shows are today, if you know what I mean.

  • @comeonfolks omg me too. born tho 84'

  • Old cartoons where by far the best. So much so, my 4 year old niece likes them better than the stuff they put out now! Except the wiggles. But it just shows foriegn kids shows still have quality to them. And Im glad I kept my old video collection!

  • God I remember watching the dont-talk-to-strangers special episode of this! :-P

  • This is what Winnie the Pooh should still be like!

  • i agree with tvfanhun!!!!

  • @Woodstock22ST u mean this show? No. This was an 80's show. Walt died in 1966. This was just back when they cared about what Walt wanted Disney to be like.

  • for some reason i remember this being a lot more realistic when i was a kid

  • oh yea disney channel is boring now what happing the oldies stuff

  • You need a friend, to spend a rainy day together. You need a friend, someone to share...

How do I remember these songs from 25 years ago and yet can't remember if I locked the front door this morning?

  • @Rompcom i know, right ; )

  • Wow this was my favorite! I really miss it, it so sad they don't give this type anymore! Its alot better than the one they show nowadays! This one seemed more real!

  • Oh my GOD, I remember watching this as a kid and lovin' it. Now, I just feel bad for those actors!

  • ahhh!! flashbacks! their eyes always scared me...

  • OMG I really miss this version of pooh *tear*

  • Legendary....just Legendary!!!!

  • I'm sure everybody who was born in the 80's like myself has watched this show on the Disney Channel. I'm 25 years old too and the old Disney Channel lineup was the best. This show, DUMBO'S CIRCUS, and MOUSERCISE were the best shows on TV at the time.

  • @elmando5 can i love this comment? I hate the tv shows that they have on tv these days. Children are not learning anything, from the modern day cartoons. (with a few acceptions.) Why can't things go back to the amazing shows that they were?

  • @elmando5

I'm 30 yrs old, a child of the '80s, and believe me, there are many of us out there who really wish we can go back to those days.

Exceptionally wonderful memories, full of innocence. And I hope I have a place similar to that in the 100 acre woods :)

  • @elmando5

I'm 27, and I agree--this and Dumbo's Circus were the greatest things Disney Channel ever showed!

  • I have the 1st three volumes on vhs. Im 21 and love this show. I loved disney channel in the morning, in the early to mid 90s.

  • go up to your address bar, put the letter "Q" between the words you and tube, then press enter

  • so cuteeeeeee

  • I'm 20 and love this show to death.

  • WELL IM 25 AND I LOVED THIS SHOW ALSO!

  • Has it really been that long. 1989 incarnate, I feel like I'm in kindergarten again. 25 now, this brings back memories.

  • Wow, this brings back memories!!

  • im 25 years old and LOVED watching this show! I still remember the words to the theme song lol. Anybody know where we can get this on DVD? They need to release all the stuff we watched when we were little on DVD! I want my daughter to watch what i did. Shows were so much better back in the old days!

  • I'm 25 and I remember that Dumbo's Circus used to come on after this and disney would play a montage with pictures kids drew appearing on a fridge door.

  • Gosh ...Im 25 and still wish I could go back to these days when there was actually "good" shows on TV. Now its just animated crap. I miss these days!

  • Same age as you. God, we must all remember this stuff if we're in our 20s. lol.

  • Every morning on disney, childhood man thats gone for good

  • the good old days

  • I still know all the words to the theme song! Woo-hoo!!!

  • I love the reverb "Winnie" at 1:29! I want these on DVD now!

  • i LOVED this when i was young. miss programming like this nowadays. our kids are bombarded with such nasty, rude stuff now. =(

  • This is one of the original shows on The Disney Channel.

  • I have an episode or 2 of this so give it a couple of weeks and I will upload them :)

  • I think I saw this when I was 2 or so, and I couldn't sleep, before I left to go to Disney World.... that was when Disney was good... *sigh* I miss those days!!!!

  • I used to love this show and Dumbo's Circus as a kid. I sure wish they'd release it on DVD.

  • Let's form a committee and tell disney to release this on DVD. Who's with me.

  • @bluestingerborg not a dvd, but an oldschool channel for all older disney shows

  • This was amazing when i was 5 years old, back in 1995 or so. Truly masterful

  • omg i SOO used to watch this SHOW lol

  • flashbacks!!!!!!!!

  • And remember when The Disney channel was strictly for Walt Disney's characters? I remember Donald's Quack Attack, this show about a robot (I think it was Shake Rattle and Roll?) Kids Inc., Dumbo, Mickey Mouse Club, Under the Umbrella Tree, Alice in Wonderland, and of course Welcome to Pooh Corner. And they would even show the old technicolor Disney cartoons. Great memories of watching these at my Grandma's house in the early 90s.

  • I remember watching this back in the day when Disney was still a pay channel and most of us could only get it when they would do those free previews. (Remember those? When I knew those were coming up I always made sure I had extra blank tapes to record shows on, LOL.) I begged my parents to subscribe to The Disney Channel, but they never did. =-(

Does anyone remember a song from Welcome to Pooh Corner where they talk about getting up on the wrong side of the bed, BTW? I seem to recall one.
