Okay, couple of months ago my friend in class was wearing a shirt that said "SAVE FERRIS" and I said, "Oh, you know the band?!", seeing as no one I know knows of the band, I was naturally surprised and excited.

He says, "Uh?" and I said, "The band named 'Save Ferris'." and he says that his shirt is from Ferris Bueller's Day Off and that the band I was talking about is probably named after it. I told him I've never seen it (its boring)... then he made me watch it.

I never knew the reference....

It's not funny that he died, I thought he was a fantastic actor who had a lot of potential and a lot going for him. I've been watching his films since 2001 and have been following him, and it's very unfortunate that it was accidental suicide.

But it IS funny that he's been linked to Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, because he didn't even die within a year of them - it's completely unrelated, and I just found it amusing. :)
