They almost always put out the first episode for free. If you go to the Showtime website, you'll see there are free full episodes of many shows, including the new show "The Big C," which is always supposed to be very good. Of course they won't stream the subsequent episodes though. It's cable.

Putting the premiere episode of their longest running and most successful show on YouTube is hardly "stupid"...it's called MARKETING.
